The main themes of Phingbodhipakkiya's art pieces are that it centres around feminism, justice, and science. What connects these together is that they aren’t necessarily what’s openly supported or celebrated in society. The viewer's reaction to the current issues present in our society today would be how Phingbodhipakkiya reveals the identity of people, whether or not they agree with the statement the art piece makes.

The contrasting colours of the words "I did not make you sick" exemplify their impact.
Issues addressed:
The issue here is the connotation of the Covid-19 pandemic being spread by Asians. This pandemic gives rise to more opportunities for people to taunt racist insults as using the pandemic as an excuse will be hard to argue against.

The visual adds facial features showing how old the man is.
Issues addressed:
The image depicts an old Asian male, with the words "Protect our elders" This is related to anti-Asian hate that is happening to the Asian community in America. Using an old Asian man is a good tactic to show reliance and the need to protect the weak.

Artist choices:
The author Amanda uses many illustrative colours and visuals to show that a wide range of people can vote. She shows that everyone from African Americans to minorities have the right to vote. Moreover, She explicitly writes the 2020 there to show that this was the election. The red and blue also symbolise republican and democratic.

Issues addressed:
The issues addressed in this art piece depict the 2020 US elections between trump and Biden, I'm going to say that from my perspective this looks like a pro-democrat advert with the use of minority women.

These could connote friendship and peace, which creates a sense of unity. Moreover, the clenched and raised fist could show the woman as a symbol of strength, like a leader to follow.

Issues addressed:
The issue addressed in this art piece is the need for support of the BLM movement as shown with the fist in the air. Stand with us is a common phrase used in protests which could refer to the BLM protests that happened in 2021.

On the suburbs of Atlanta, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya was born to parents from Thailand and Indonesia. She earned a degree in neuroscience from Columbia University in 2010. She made the decision to change careers after some time working in the R&D industry to become an artist.
