I really enjoyed going to the 9th and 9th area again and looking from a positive perspective. My perspective did change in the way that I noticed more assets than deficits from last time. While I was exploring this area I went to try the frozen yogurt place that they had. The woman working and I believe she was the owner as well, took her time to speak with us and tell us about their business. I was very appreciative of that interaction and being able to see small businesses do well. Overall, I liked doing this project and learning more about an area that I visited when I first visited Utah. It also helped me realize when I am looking for a house someday I really need to take into account the assets and deficits of that area. I have a positive attitude at the end of this project because I learned that there is more to a neighborhood than just at first glance.
