First and foremost, we could spread awareness by sharing our knowledge with other people. For example, we can create our own leaflets or website where we share useful info or even organize small events that eventually grow in popularity. This way we will alert fellow citizens and gain their interest. 

Additionally, we must adopt certain routines such as recycling. Also, it is very important to learn to walk or bicycle whenever we have to get through short distancies instead of driving. Using mass means of transport is as helpful. 

Last but not least, we have to reduce the usage of plastic materials. Many areas have been destroyed because of industries that take advantage of non-renewable oil sources. What's more, seas have been poluted by plastic and most fish have been infected by it. At least 15 towns in Serbia are more polluted than the most polluted town in the EU. They (the Serbian government) led us to this stage. 15 000 people died because of the pollution. This means 50 deaths per day, which is more than from COVID-19. And we say nothing and do nothing about that. Thousands of environmental demonstrators took to the streets of Belgrade many times on to urge the Serbian government to change its attitude towards environmental issues and start applying the law against the biggest polluters.
