The activities included exploring the habitats, animals, and plants in streams, experiencing the night walk, and doing group reports.<br><br>3. I felt the beauty of nature and became more cherish of the community and natural environment. Became braver because of the night walk since we need to walk through a path on the mountain by ourselves. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Spring Blossom in Secondary School<br>2. A week-long service trip to Hubei to teach underprivileged children English.<br>3. We had to adjust to a new environment and put in a lot of time and effort to plan lessons for the children. We complained a lot before the trip about the workload but in the end, we didn't want to leave and we left crying. I developed a bond with the students and I still remember them to this day, which was unexpected due to my short time there.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.In-depth understanding of low income families with cancer and volunteer activities during high school<br><br>2.The first two days of the project were spent learning the stories and circumstances of each family with cancer in the school's community, learning about the difficulties faced by this population, and offering solutions. In the end, some of our solutions were adopted by the community staff and made a real difference in their lives. The remaining five days we spent as volunteers caring for cancer patients and providing them with help in their lives.<br><br>3.First of all, it was the first time I came into close contact with cancer patients and felt the fragility of people's lives. But at the same time, I also saw the strong will of people in the face of adversity. Secondly, it was also the first time I felt the joy of bringing value to others and helping others. This experience also made me grow up.</div>]]></description>

We visited some valuable and historical sites in Macau such as the School of Arts of Macau Polytechnic Institute, Albergue Scm, Rua de Eduardo Marques, Ruins of St Paul, etc.<br><br>3. It was the first time I go to Macau. Also, after this trip, I had a deeper understanding of the history and the culture in Macau. </div>]]></description>

This program aims to develop students' entrepreneurial mindset, teaching us entrepreneurial theory, legal and risk assessment, brand marketing and other related knowledge, and required us built our own virtual education platform as Edupreneurs.</div><div><br></div><div>3. On the one hand, in this practical study, I worked well with my team members in our respective roles, and finally made a psycho-educational platform that we were quite satisfied with. On the other hand, this experiential learning reacquainted me with entrepreneurship and innovation, made me notice my potential creative ability, and that entrepreneurial mindset gave me great inspiration for personal development ,career development and study.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Organized an intra-school mathematic competition for junior-form students, which was organised by Eduhk and its alumni.</div><div><br></div><div>It was an ongoing scheme, that stretched over the whole summer vacation. It supports students who would like to learn more about Experiential Subject Learning in secondary school. Providing an empirical experience for student-teacher to organise a school activity with senior teachers.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>New teachers with practical capabilities have always been the best choice for schools. In today's school education, the concept of "life-wide learning" is practised, which has a great impact on teachers' ability to teach and plan activities that are highly valued. However, in previous FE practise, hardly can student-teacher, being one of the organizers, participated in events, let alone learn about conception, design, publicity and promotion of learning activity planning in secondary school background. This programme brought about unique and empirical learning outcomes that could not grasp in BP, for example, the implementation procedures, considerations and safety awareness of learning activities, and even a deepened understanding of the impact of school operations on the planning of learning activities.&nbsp;</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. A CSL course in EdUHK called “walking with the handicapped”. <br><br>2. The course aims to raise our awareness in the needs of the physically and mentally handicapped through service learning. Besides the concepts and theories of service learning, it provides the opportunity for us to join service-based activities organised by NGOs. <br><br>3. The programme is impressive because I can really reach the handicapped in Hong Kong through the service-based activities. I have chances to lead a group of elderly with visual impairments to join a wedding ceremony for visually impaired persons, holding activities for elderly with mild cognitive impairment and making soup and having dinner with rehabilitated persons. The activities allow me to have new thoughts on the target groups and understand their needs.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The course aims to develop our understanding of four major mental health illnesses, which include depression, anxiety disorder, substance abuse and psychosis.<br><br>3. It is impressive because I can identify the symptoms of the above mental health illnesses by conducting different simulated cases during the group discussion section. Personally, I have also learnt some counselling skills in order to communicate persons in need smoothly, especially our family or friends. Besides that, I realize a number of instant methods for dealing with the random situation in a suitable way, and try my best to urge them to seek professional help if needed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. A marathon(hiking) for the high school entrance exam in secondary school.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>2. The programme aimed to motivate the students who were going to take their exams for entering high school. The hike took one day to complete, and apart from the fact that it was a long distance, it was also a very sunny day, which tested not only physical strength but also willpower.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>3. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of physical activities, especially on such a very sunny day, it could be torture for me. However, I think it is important for me to determine my devotion to studying. I still remember the day that senior students of our school hiking together and even teachers walk along with us to encourage us. The hike was tiring but I persevered with my willpower, making me feel that I have the potential to face challenges in my studies and even my whole life. Also, the encouragement and support from my classmates and teachers along the way were touching and warm-hearted, which give me confidence in interpersonal relationships.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>School training camp in Form 4</li><li>The programme is organised by our school which required all from 4 students to participate. It is held in the Po Leung Kok Jockey Club Pak Tam Chung Holiday Campsite. We stayed there for 4days and 3 nights. It aimed at strengthening our relationship with peers as well as enhancing our psychological health.</li><li>After the trip, I feel energetic in creating stronger bonds with my classmates. I enjoyed so much in organising different activities and competing with other classes. I also learned to be grateful for everything happened in life, especially to my family, friends or just the fact that I am safe, full, and healthy. I see it as a precious chance for me to live a short period of time with my lovely classmates and abandon all the school work just for sincere relationship bonding.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>

Listener are expected to apply different skills to help the client with suicidal thoughts.<br><br>3. &nbsp; Apart from have lecture to learn the skills, there are multiple role-play section, letting the participant to experience and practice the knowledge learnt from the lesson. Although this program is focused on suicidal client, the skills learned from this program can also be used during daily communication. I am more comfortable to help my friend confronting his personal problem. The program encourages participants to narrow his/her life stories and recognized our own unique life resources. The program also introduced the Holland's Career Personality Types to me.&nbsp;<br><br>3. It's so impressive to me because I can know more about my real personalities, abilities and interests through chatting with the tutor. Meanwhile, I have the opportunities to observe and learn the counseling skills she used.</div>]]></description>
