Flipped learning takes what is normally taught in the classroom and requires students learn it at home. Class time is reserved for higher level thinking activities and projects.

Students watch video and take notes at home on photosynthesis. In class they work in groups on an inquiry project looking at effects of different substances on the rate of photosynthesis.

Students listen to the story at home and hold a group discussion on literary elements in class.
