♥HOT CHOCOLATE HISTORY♥

You might think that you're favorite chocolate drink was made just for the sake of your taste buds, but the history is interesting. People from Mesoamerica by the Olmec used to use this 'concoction' for a source of strengthening wellness a long time ago. The cacao bean had many properties for a healthy life, so they would ground it up and mix it water for drinking. This chocolate trend was spread to the Maya and then the Aztecs, who made it almost a sacred drink for only the worthy to drink. Even explorers used this for an energy boost. Later, in the Revolutionary War, nurses fed this to the war heroes to accelerate their recoveries. Even John Adams said, “The superiority of chocolate, both for health and nourishment, will soon give it the preference over tea and coffee in America…” Even though this never did happen, its still such a great drink that everyone loves.
