Nicotine bark (Solanaceae) is a powerful stimulant and alkaloid in the plant family. Nicotine can easily pass through human body. The shape of the nose, mouth, lungs in the body can be by the skin. In just 10 seconds, it reaches into the human brain. Nicotine was named "Nicotiana Tabacum" by the French Ambassador in Portugal Jean Nicot de Villemain in 1560 for bringing tobacco seeds from Brazil to Paris.Nicotine is a substance found naturally in tobacco plants and one of the main components of tobacco smoke. It is also found in some other plants, but the rate is much lower than that of the tobacco. Pharmacological effects of nicotine include; caffeine, but it is both stimulating and relaxing. Nicotine is poisonous when taken at levels much higher than that of cigarette smoke. Most public health officials think that nicotine stimulates the central nervous system, leading to addiction.Nicotine has stimulant and depressant effects on the CNS (central nervous system) and peripheral nervous system equally. After taking nicotine, effects such as euphoria, wakefulness, memory and increased attention and relief from distress occur. But at the same time nicotine itself is creating tension. Tolerance develops against the effects of nicotine and the first cigarette smoking effects do not occur. According to the American Heart Association, nicotine addiction is one of the most difficult addictions to history, and the pharmacological and behavioral characteristics that determine nicotine dependence are similar to those that determine heroin and cocaine dependence.
