The graphic below shows us the demographic changes in Germany from 1900 to 2016. You can notice that the birth rate, death rate and the natural increase drastically drops around 1950. The birth rate falls approximately half from its original number to 1950 while the natural increase falls further down in a straight line until the year 2000. After 2000 the two lines increased to 2016. The death rate rises a bit after 1950 until 2016.
