The photo above is me who is on vacation at Ancol Beach.
Although not as beautiful and as cool as the other friends' favorite places. this place is full of nostalgia for me. I like this place because when I get there, I can relax, play in the sand like making a castle because the beach there also has beautiful pink sand, we can swim. although the water is salty and very painful if it gets in the eyes. And sometimes there are many visitors. but still a lot of fun.

My favorite place is Lake Toba. Lake Toba is a great place to relax, especially after the busy and crowded Medan, you can also walk around or rent a motorcycle to explore Samosir Island. The climate here is surprisingly refreshing, warm and pleasant during the day and cool at night. The local Batak people are very friendly and helpful.

Some good places to visit are: Tomok, Ambarita, Simanindo (traditional dance) and Pangururan and its hot springs. You can rent a boat at Carolina Cottages to take you to Binangalom Waterfall, which runs into Lake Toba, where you can take a dip in the lake.
