"Finding the man I love wasn't much of a thought that I would consider. As a child, I was raised to work, cook, learn, and be a full grown desirable woman. I've met my husband during high school, but we had no feelings towards each other back then.. After we graduated, we haven't seen each other for a long time. One day, we bumped into each other in San Diego. We hung out, dated, loved each other, and next thing you know it we got married. Love seems to find its way through people in the most weirdest way."

"I wasn't always a smart and diligent person. School was not important to me back then. My mom worked hard everyday and night working her butt off to make sure my family was happy. My dad is currently serving in the Marines and I miss him a lot. I have a younger sister and although she can be annoying, she is the most adorable and loving sister I can ever have. I had trouble keeping my grades up to the point where I got extremely stressed and gave up. One day a boy came up to me during lunch. He was cute and he has an amazing personality. Not only that, he was incredibly smart. Because of him, he helped me get my feet back up and paved me a way to educational success. Today, I appreciated everything he has done for me. He told me to work hard play hard."

"When I was a teenager, art has always been a hobby I love to do everyday. New drawings, new paintings, or new craftsmanship. When I think of creating something, I close my eyes and think to myself how do I feel. To me, I believe that whatever your current mood is, will determine how your art product will be. Art is a way of expressing how you feel. I served in the United States Navy for twenty years and have a electrical engineering job working on naval ships. Everyday I work, everyday I lose a day of painting. But whenever I have the time to paint, I put my feelings on canvas. Remember to use your imagination, it's a gift that you and only you can use. Use it"

"I grew up not knowing who my mother was. When I was a kid, my father had trouble finding a job and couldn't take care of me. Years later, my Aunt took care of me instead while my father was trying to put his life back together. My Aunt was like a mother to me. She loved music and had all these old records, tape cassettes, and CD's in her room. I grew up listening to her oldie music. She had a stereo in the living room and played the same old songs every single day. As I grew older, I got tired listening to her music and started to hate it. Of course I was not going to tell her that. Instead, I asked my aunt to get her own iPod so she can listen to her songs with her ear buds. One day my aunt suffered a heart attack and passed away the next day. I had trouble believing it, but reality hit me in the face and I had to deal with the pain for a couple of weeks. My dad however, found a suitable job and took me back to his house. Later on, I took my aunt's iPod, and transferred all of her music to my phone. Sometimes I listen to her favorite songs and I remember the great memories we had. I remember asking her why she loved music so much and she said, Music is way of leaving reality and putting yourself into a world of of great imaginations."
