Digital literacy is different from computer literacy because computer literacy is about being able to use computes but digital literacy is about knowing how to use computers and other kinds of devices like smartphones and also being able to engage in social ntworks and online communities and also know to behave properly online.

Moving on to education 2.0 is kind of hard because it is comfortable for both educators and students to have their fixed roles. Learning to think and to question is something our geneartion had difficulty coping with and, consequently, our students kind of inherited that viewpoint.

I think it is important to teach students how to use internet to learn. Most of people know how to use the social networks but it is important to show them important websites, apps or tools that students could use to improve their learning like google scholar, coursera.org and others...

It is also important to teach them how to make sure their online researches are trustworthy and also tell them.

The issue is not “why” to use technology in the classroom anymore. It is how it can enhance the learning experience in a seamless manner.

The focus should be learning and interaction not the tool being used. If tech takes too much time it becomes a distractor and not a disruptor.
