The new technologies developed in the early 19th century allowed for a wave of new immigrants to migrate to the US. With this, new technologies were being created to generally make life easier in the US. These technologies did require lots of hard and often times unsafe labor, mostly by slaves or immigrants. However, these new technologies allowed for an increase in trade with inventions like the canal or the steamboat, and better and more reliable, and led to a change in the way the markets were arranged around this growing society.

Thesis #13: The influx of European immigrant labor in the early 19th century played a significant role in the development of the market revolution. However, the construction of canals provided a quick, inexpensive mode of transportation for materials, and the invention of interchangeable parts allowed for simpler production of goods. Therefore, new technologies had the largest influence on the beginning of the market revolution.

This was because it became more industry based and lost the meaning of farming.Based off this many things changed over time, like ways of transformation. The need of farms lost value and due to that the use for slaves did as well. However the market revolution was important it also played a big role in the decrease of agriculture.
