You will need:

- 1 Foreground image - provided

- 3 background images

1. Take out the background of your image using a layer mask

2. Paste in a background.

3. Move your background to the bottom layer

4. Make sure your city layer is selected - it won't work if this layer is not selected

5. Go to Image>Adjustments>Match Color and choose your source for the color match.

6. Adjust the fade toggle to make your foreground image blend with the background.

1. Create a new adjustment layer using Brightness/Contrast.

2. In Properties adjust the Brightness to make light rays.

3. In Properites switch to the Masks and adjust the Feather toggle.

What was used before AI was Content aware fill. This is still available in the Edit dropdown and filled the same purpose, but was less flexible and required a lot more time and additional layers to make an image look realistic.

Post under your name the original photo and your altered one.

2. Select the sky and add a layer mask to the selection.

3. Create a new Fill Layer with a Solid Color.

4. Pick your color you want your new sky.

5. With the fill layer selected, hold down the (Alt) button and move your pointer in the grey section of the layers until you see a small white box with an arrow pointing to the layer beneath it. 

6. Click it to clip it to the layer below. This action is what clips the fill layer mask to the background copy.

7. Go to the Layer Styles/Blending Options.

8. On this screen on the Underlying Layer bar, use the (Alt) tab to break the slider to allow the details of the bottom layer to show through the color layer. Choose OK once you like what it shows.

9. On the grey area on the Fill Layer, right click to Merge Down the top 2 layers.

10. Select your background layer and go to Image/Adjustments/Match Color.

11. In this window select your Source Image and change the layer to Background Copy.

12. Use the Fade Slider to match background to the sky.

Following the Demo videos & the Instructions below, create an altered photo with colors that make the photo more dramatic.

Post 2 color changed images under your name -

2. Find the second image in an image search - your choice of subject matter. Create the second altered photo with dramatic colors.

• Add a shadow under the car
• Add highlights to the windows if your image is a car.
• Make sure the edges of your car do not have a halo, erase if it does.

Post the new image created with the added blending effect under your name in the Turn In tab under your name.

Post the Before & After of your tree to really see the light rays.

Find a <500x500 image of a super hero or a person in motion. Find a <500x500 image of fire or lightning. Merge the lightning or fire into the super hero/person in motion using Blend modes. OR use images found below.

*** To make sure additional layers do not show the sharp edge of an image, apply a large soft eraser to the edges of the image until you get the blend you are looking for.

Create a new 6x8 document with 300dpi. Using layers, masks, and other techniques we have learned up to this point, create a combined image with a person and the secondary subject interacting with the background in a new and unique way.

Bottom Layer

• color fill layer, either flat color or gradient

Middle Layer

• Portrait layer - mask your portrait to remove the background, remove parts of your portrait that you do not want to see with the brush on the mask layer.

Top Landscape Layer

• Landscape layer - Add a blank mask and remove portions of landscape with the brush on the mask layer that you do not want to see. Use the layer opacity if needed.

• Allow some of the landscape layer to be visible outside of the portrait to make a more artistic double exposure portrait

• Make sure the face is visible

• Make sure the blend between the 2 photos is gradual with a large soft brush

Tops detail layer

• Add something to this layer that blurs the line of the portrait - Example: additional clouds that move outside of the portrait image, birds flying away from the portrait, leaves falling from persons hair

2. Go to Adjustment layer/Gradient map
3. Choose gradient
4. Add new Adjustment layer/Vibrance to control the intensity of colors
5. Add texture layer and place above portrait & underneath the 2 adjustment layers
6. Add a blending mode to the texture layer that compliments your portrait & lower the opacity of the layer if neccesary.

2. Image/Adjustments/Desturate - Desaturate your duplicated portrait - layer 2
3. Duplicate your desaturated - layer 3
4. Filter/Stylize/Find edges - layer 3
5. Image/Adjust/Invert - layer 3
6. Duplicate inverted layer - layer 4
7. Filter/Stylize/Diffuse, select Anisotropic to smooth - layer 4
8. Layer/New Fill Layer/Solid color - choose your color - layer 5
9. Choose your blend mode for your color fill layer
10. Select your layer 4 and go to Layer/New Adjustment Layer/Levels - 

1. Find an old painting of royalty or superhero poster

2. Use a selfie

3. Open your selfie in Photoshop and move it to the portrait page.

4. Make your face slightly transparent so you can see the eyes - match up the eyes of both faces as good as possible.

5. Edit/Transform/Warp the masked face until the nose & mouth fit above the original face.

6. Select the face using the Quick Selection tool

7. Reduce selection by at least 5 pixels using Select/Modify/Contract

8. Click on the painting/superhero layer

9. Delete painting/Superhero face

10. Holding down the shift key click and select both the face layer and Superhero layer

11. Select Edit/Auto Blend layers to match new face to background image.

12. Touch up any unblended edges around the face with the Healing Brush.

Post your original photo and the touched up photo to the TEAMS - Turn in.

2. Open your image in photoshop.

3. Double the size of your photo - height or width

4. Move your photo up or down depending on where you want to add to the image

5. Select the blank areas with a little overlap onto the original photo

6. Use the Generative fill

Your new image must include:

• At least 1 new building or structure

• 2 or more moons or planets

• At least 2 things flying

• Add an alien

***If you are wanting a specific object created, Make a selection the size you want the object and type this into the 'what would you like to create' box before selecting Generate

AI can also generate a complete image for you. You can select by Effects, by Style or you can add in your own Reference image for Photoshop to make an image in the style of your chosen image.

1. Choose an Effect from the styles offered.

2. Type the animal of your choosing in the 'Describe the image' section. The more specific you are, the more likely you will get an image that you are looking for.
