People nowadays are generally cautious to take vaccines because of the potential consequences of being vaccinated against particular viruses or diseases. Doctors, scientists, and others are certain to be able to validate these statements. The majority of doctors advise us to get vaccinated as a society in order to stay safe. Dr. Rebecca Bakke is an example of one of these doctors. Dr. Rebecca Bakke is a doctor who is frequently asked about immunizing infants and children, as it is part of her daily profession. She talks about how important it is to get vaccinated and discusses her experience with whooping cough in one of her stories, and she also talks about how she wasn't inoculated with the Tdap vaccination at the time, which she regrets. She was later inoculated, and she now makes it a point to tell women who are having children to be vaccinated as well. Although this is only one doctor's experience, it demonstrates the importance of immunizations, not only for yourself but also for those around you. Although it may not seem like a major deal right now, when it comes to your life or the lives of others, getting infected with a disease without being vaccinated against it becomes a much bigger concern.
