Looking forward to working with everyone this semester in Digital Visual Dynamics! This class is a complete ONLINE course facilitated by join.me and cubby.com

A reminder that our first meeting will be:
Friday, SEPT 9th, 8am - 12pm
This is for every student who is enrolled in this class whether you are in Group 1 or 2.

Agenda for this first orientation class will include and intro to the course, getting everyone set up with Join.me and Cubby, and also some basic things to get you familiar with painting in Photoshop.

After spending a semester in the Illustration and Concept Art program, I now know for a fact that I made the right decision in coming to this program at Algonquin College. I fit perfectly in an environment which makes me feel right at home with a lot of like-minded people who constantly inspire me to get better. I am surrounded by professors who pay special attention to each student and aim to prepare the students to become professionals in the industry.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who aspires to be a part of the Art industry and more importantly, I would recommend Algonquin College as a perfect learning ground for everyone."

 

The main message I would like to pass on:  Come to class ready to draw! There will be plenty of lecture/instruction along the way, but during class time, expect to be doing “hands on” exercises and assignments.

 

With that in mind, please bring a few firm leaded pencils to class (HB is OK), and a sharpener. Also, bring a favorite pen for sketching, and some paper towel (or similar) for inkblots. I’ll provide some paper on the first day.

My name is Zoë but a lot of my friends call me Spooky or Spooks (due to my love for Xfiles and all that jazz)

I was born and raised in Ottawa, although Algonquin is a little bit out of my stomping grounds. 

I've been drawing since before I could hold a pencil, and I went to Canterbury for the visual arts program. 
I'm not too good at telling people more about myself, but if you ask me anything, I'm more than happy to talk!

Can't wait to get to know you guys and work with you throughout the year!
