He closed the borders and stopped the shipments from coming in. Planes filled with supplies to help Venezuelans was sent over but had to land a little bit out of Venezuela. The citizens think that it is very important for the supplies to be sent there, and their president has to come to his senses and let the supplies come through the border. I am not necessarily connected to the story but the US is because we are nice enough to send the supplies Venezuela needs, but their president wont let it come through. Syrian democratic forces said isis' last big headquarters had been defeated. They might come back with a different name or form. Isis terrorist attacks happen all the time and we defeated their last big headquarters. This relates to globalization because a result of globalization is that many global organizations have been made and terrorist fight against them like on 911 when they took down the World Trade Center. Maybe they will come back but until then I feel safe and that's how this relates to me.

Self driving, speed detecting, and sign detecting shuttle buses can replace all normal cars and make the EU roads safer. In three to five years this could be the norm. It helps people who can't drive get around. There has to be a safety driver assisting the car while driving just incase something goes wrong. This relates to globalization because if the EU can make these cars than we can exchange things that we are good at making for things that they are good at making like those cars. We could all enjoy the ride of self driving cars and prevent millions of deaths that occur everyday. Sold when 2 or 3 and went to an orphanage in America. He wants to play in the NFL and he is good enough to play in college. This relates to globalization because he was sent across the world to live in America, just like goods are sent around the world. This relates to me because we see how kids are being sent to orphanages and being adopted. It is really heart warming to see that they have someone to live with. Also because Cas had a dream to be in the NFL and us kids have dreams. UN wants to work with them to solve the problem, but there government claims there is no emergency. 94% of Venezuelans are living in poverty. This relates to globalization because it produces organizations like the United Nations. They try and solve global problems like the one in Venezuela, but they can't do anything if there government disagrees with it. This relates to me because I would want people to help me if I or everyone else is living in poverty.

Robots, medicine, cars, etc. are going to be controlled by 5G in the future. It is ten times faster than 4G. It can connect with the internet, with cars, satellites, or robots. Self driving cars are in our future also, but 5G would need millions of cellphone towers and would cost 300 billion dollars to just get it in the US. This relates to globalization because 5G can be what the US does best and we can trade our resources for better ones that we aren't able to get. It is like the evolution of telephones with them being made everywhere do to globalization, and soon so will 5G internet.
