My grandpa has done something different in his life than was expected for him. Growing up with six brothers was very hard for him. The mother raise them by herself. They were very poor and didn’t have much. He was expected to work at a grocery store just like his mother. My grandpa started getting involved in the business industry and majored in that. He was very successful and was the president of a popular elevator company (Otis I think). Now, he is on the board of a drone company which is really neat.
My parents haven’t told me that they would like me to follow in their footsteps or anything like that. My dad is in the medical industry and he does marketing. My mom doesn’t work and is a stay at home mom. Since my dad is in the medical business, I kind of want to get involved with that. All I want to do is make people better or healthier. I don’t think it’s OK to put pressure on kids telling them what to do, especially when they also have school to think about. My role models are my grandpa and older cousin. My grandpa is very successful in what he does and I want to be successful also. My cousin is a senior in high school and she gives me advice on all sorts of things. She has more experience and she teaches me if someone doesn’t conform with our society , Then they get punished. It is pretty easy to be a non-conformist. We can break the rules if we want to, but people choose not to because they know there are consequences. 5 traits I like about people are caring, outgoing, funny, generous and adventurous. First, if someone is caring, you feel better about yourself because someone listens to what you have to say. Next, outgoing people are so easy. They just go with the flow and I love that about people. Funny people are the best. Everyone loves to be happy and laugh. I like generous people because they put others before themselves. That is so great because helping people is important. Lastly, adventurous people love to have fun. They love trying new thing and being brave and I love that.
