Price increase may lower the amount of consumers; which in turn, would lead to even more profit loss on top of the profit loss due to wage increase.

Lower-wage earner: No to price increase.

DECISION: No to price increase
Govt: Lower prices instead, and then taxing more. If everything costs less living costs are less, therefore lower wage workers need less money to live, lowering minimum living costs. This boosts economy, thus attracting even more foreign investors and companies to come to Singapore, increasing the demand for manpower causing competition for manpower, causing companies to increase pay. This lets us tax more, and add more tax policies like living tax, existence tax, family tax, breathing tax. If you give government workers avoidance from this tax, the government will get more workers, and costs keep lesser. Also, the tax money will be much more compared to the reduced price, causing government agents to exploit the money and become rich.

Consumer: Dont increase, lower price so everything is cheaper
Business: Increase price, but do not hire more people. Instead, only keep the elite veterans, while firing the rest, being able to give them a higher wage. To make up for manpower, accept interns for free for a long period of time, but once it is over instantly fire them. This lets us keep the money to pay workers more.
Lower-wage: Increase prices to earn more money. Even though living expenses increase, the income I earn would increase while having less work as the higher price deters people

DECISION: No to price increase
Govt: No, price increase less people to buy the product.
Consumer: No, 'altruism' increases with comfort of living. Living expenses in Singapore is no representation of disneyland. The increase of prices might also lower Singapore's birth rate because as a consumer, I won't be reminded of the breeze of keeping children. Consumers look after themselves. No.
Business: No, people will buy less, less money earned
Lower-wage earner: Yes, need increased pay
