Vygotsky as I believe that when a child does dramatic/role play, it shows what the child already knows (through exposure, prior experiences, what they see) and they recap what has already been taught in the classroom setting. Providing the tools and props in the learning corner will help the child to use the items creatively of which they would learn from one another. Learning through roleplays will give a better understanding on the social life and the rules in their communities.

Piaget's theory of play is more relatable. He suggested that children's play and their intellectual development are keenly intertwined. As children grow and develop, their play environment should too. From his 4 stages of cognitive development, we can see that as the child grows, the way they explore, interpret and understand the world starts to get more and more advance.

Piaget - I think that constructivist play theories made an impact as it emphasizes on hands-on experiences which helps children to explore and learn from their experiences. Through play, children are able to be more pro-active instead of just being passively accepting information.

Skinner's Theory of Behaviourist Perspectives
Skinner conceptualize play as a learned response to a set of stimuli and it was also seen as problem-solving behaviours because of its complex and investigative features.
This theory relates to children a lot because children tend to have misunderstandings with their peers during play, and that is when they are taught how to problem-solve. Another way in which they are involved in problem-solving is when they play puzzle games.
