However, one distinct difference that has changed over time and that is the fact that today, there is no discrimination in neighborhoods of Santa Clarita. As said in "Levittowns", each town is subdivided into 16 separate neighborhoods and each carries a distinctive name. In Santa Clarita, some subdivisions of neighborhoods are Southern Oaks, The Arts, Westridge and Bridgeport. Both neighborhoods in Santa Clarita and Levittowns, consist of identical layouts of houses and almost identical street blocks. The houses in each neighborhood are also based off of the same model houses, spread across neighborhoods for with different color exteriors. 

Also, as seen in Bachelor in Paradise, the neighborhoods are mostly filled with families. It is very rare to find someone living in the new developments alone, without a family. Likewise with Santa Clarita, majority of streets in neighborhoods are filled with nuclear families. There may be one or two single people living in a house, but they are most likely to be living in an apartment, rather than in a neighborhood. The neighborhoods were built to create their own clubs within the community and have their own ties. In a 2010 census, there were 56.1% whites, 29.5% hispanics, 8.3% Asians, 2.9% African Americans and 3.2% other or mixed. In classrooms across the valley, there will not be a time where you come across a classroom with one race dominating over any others. This is unlike the lifestyles in Levittowns. In Levittowns, it was predominantly white at 97.37%, in a 1990 census. This was due to the decisions of Levitt and his reluctancy to let in African Americans. Eventually, there was "open housing" opportunities for African Americans which led them to be in a minority pocket. The only striking difference between Santa Clarita and Levittowns is the factor of discrimination. Throughout Santa Clarita, there is no dominating idea that there is one race superior to the other. In Levittowns there were baseball diamonds, parks and many clubs anyone could join. Most necessities and activities that needed to be done could have been found within the Levittown. This is much like Santa Clarita today. It offers movie theaters, restaurants, a mall for all shopping necessities, churches and grocery stores. Aligning with what was said in Bachelor of Paradise, "You'll never have to leave Paradise." An early policy developed by Levitt called Clause 25. In this clause it directly states that, "...the home could not be used or occupied by any person other than members of the Caucasian race," from "At 50, Levittown Contends With Its Legacy of Bias". However, even though this clause was dropped in 1948 in ruling by the Supreme Court, Levittowns still continued to follow through with it. It was a sharp blow to the African American community because the Leviitowns were supposed to offer them a hope for the working class because it promised affordable housing with no down payment. When blacks were allowed to move in, there were protests and leaflets against Jim Crowsim. In contrast, there were protests done by the whites in prospect of the blacks moving in.

In Santa Clarita today, none of this would take place. There is not a race that is discriminated against to the point that they cannot move into certain neighborhoods.
