This is because it gives a range on how technology can be used in the classroom. For elementary school there is a line between enhancement and transformation. This depends on your students personality and age.
 In fourth grade, I would focus more on the enhancement of technology. Some emergent bilingual students do not have access to technology at home so it is important to give them an introduction without overwhelming students. It is also essential for students to get practice with technology. In fifth grade, I may implement more transformation.
