My middle name is Pablo, I have it because my parents wanted to keep my name at birth somehow when they adopted me so they gave me Matteo as my first name and switched Pablo as my middle name. Matteo means gift of God. It is a very European name. Matteo also has some religious background, it comes from Saint Matthew, one of Jesus's 12 apostles and according to Christian tradition, one of the four evangelists. the surname Zullo was first found in Venice, Italy which makes sense because my Grandma is Venetian and half of my family is Italian. It was also the name of a famous and important seaport located on the Grand Canal. My name doesn't really remind me of anyone but usually when I think of Matteo I either think of the Italian player Matteo Darmian or my two cousins called Mattia and Matteo.
