      <title>3/23/17 Shift Checklists by SMCC/Unity</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/SMCC/zyfhezut56nz</link>
<description>Hey, everyone, we&#39;ve been having issues with certain tasks not being completed properly and this can be a BIG problem when County policy isn’t being adhered to. So, in an effort to make sure shifts are having key tasks completed properly, I’m implementing a checklist for the staff who are struggling with some or all of the issues listed on the form. If you are given a checklist you MUST complete it after every shift. Once you can demonstrate that these tasks are completed consistently, we can do away with the checklist. Why do only some staff get this? All new staff will have to do this for the first few weeks of employment. Also, it may all come down to who was trained fully in the past. I’m beginning to see that training may not have been consistent with every front desk staff member and that plays a big role. Another reason is staff just might not realize the importance of key tasks. Keep in mind that this checklist was created to inform and train, NOT to punish. Questions? Comments? Please, please, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
P.S. All completed forms can be given to me directly, left on the tray (Unity only), or placed in the mail slot on my door if it’s after hours. This will allow the staff who have to complete them some privacy and discretion.
