         <description><![CDATA[<div>Here is the summary of each sight word phase that the book gives:<br>Pre-Alphabetic: students use visual cues to help them remember words; students also learn to read from left to right, start reading from top of the page to the bottom, etc.<br>Partial Alphabetic Phase: have some alphabetic knowledge; usually are able to recognize initial sounds; however, they struggle to differentiate words with the same first sound.<br>Consolidated Alphabetic Phase: students are able to successfully map words, read fluently, and identify multi-syllabic words; they have memorized different rimes and are able to recognize patterns within words.</div>]]></description>
