Willy Messerschmitt was born on the 26 of June and 1898 and he died on 15 September 1978 in Munich Germany.
He went to Technical University of Munich.  
 Willys planes changed wars being superior to other planes. When he was kid he saw a zeppelin which sparked his love for aviation. 
He soon worked for Friedrich Harth the german gliding pionier, in 1921 Harth flew the S8 for 21 minutes.

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was one of the fastest planes in WW2 but its handling was not the best.
