I have worked as a para for 12 years and the last 10 years at Ellis School in Fremont. I worked all the grade levels preschool through 8th grade. I have worked with assistive technology with a variety of student, including AAC devices for communication beginning in preschool, embedded technology in google and vision tools for a student with low vision. I am hoping to gain more knowledge about AAC devices to provide an option for my preschoolers to communicate their needs and wants to others.
