These include owning and operating my own childcare program, mentoring, coaching/consulting practitioners in and outside of the STARS to Quality Initiative and developing and facilitating courses for the regional Child Care Resource & Referral Agency. I also develop and facilitate courses for childcaretraining.org.
On a personal note: I am originally from Germany and currently live in Billings. I have five grown children and six grandchildren (the picture is with my two youngest 19/21). Our family is also home to 20 chickens, two dogs, and a cat. :)

We love enjoying the outdoors together and going on weekend adventures. When I am not cleaning up after kids in my classroom or cleaning up after kids at home I enjoy running, drinking coffee and eating ALL of the chocolate. 
 I am in my 12th year of teaching and have spent those years in rural, multi-grade classrooms (currently in Alder, MT) ; this year I have pre-k to first grade students.

I am a senior here at the University of Montana Western. I plan to student teach next spring if all goes accordingly. I am a Early Childhood P3 major and have been working with young children for quite some time now. I first started working with children my junior year of high school. I have worked a summer lunch program which provided food to all elementary students during the summer for two years. I also work at an after-school program called Paws with children grades k-6th during my senior year of high school and freshman year of college. I was also a full-time nanny for one year. During this time I watched a 2 year old and a 10 year old which was quite exciting. I am currently working at a preschool and childcare program. I typically work with children ages 3 to 0. I love working with small children and learning new strategies and ways to teach them. I feel children at this age have so much to learn and Gain before going to Public Schools. I also enjoy many different Hobbies including playing with my dog Harley, who is a 9 1/2 year old Chihuahua and  my 1 year old cat Lucy. I also enjoy doodling or drawing in my free time and listening to music as I find these are great ways to have a bit of Zen In My Life. I am very hardworking and will stop at nothing to accomplish my goals. I hope in the future I will be a successful teacher. I have not yet decided if I want to work in a public school or stay in the early childhood Departments. But I know whichever I decide I will always do my best to make sure my students are getting what they needAnd making the best opportunities for them.

While I'm in Dillon, I work online for the same preschool I work at in Helena. I do all of the school age lesson planning, and all of the summer camp prep. Over the summer and winter break I work in Helena, MT at a Montessori preschool. During the summer I am the summer camp director and lead teacher at the school age program. I have worked with school age for at least 5 years and have worked with children for at least 8 years--but really for as long as I can remember. I love working with and being around kids and it is something I knew I wanted to do for forever. I work with ages 0-5 during the school year. I adore everything Disney and will never get tired of or be too old for Disneyland. I love to travel, go camping, go on road trips, go hunting, hangout with friends and family, and basically anything else outdoors. I also enjoy playing tennis or other sports. My girlfriend and I have a cat together who is very sweet and very spoiled. I am only nineteen years old and already have a lot of teaching experience and credits towards my degree! I work as a lead teacher at Head Start in one of the youngest classrooms in the building so a majority of my class consists of very young three year olds. It can be challenging yet rewarding. I have been here for about eight years and have found I am drawn to children with special needs as well as the sassy little girls and the rambunctious boys full of mischievous and the sparkle in their eyes. I love all of the children in my care for different reasons.  
I am loved and supported by an amazing combined family. Together my husband and I have 6 children, all ranging in ages from 26-12.  I look forward to this semester and learning new things so that I can utilize the information in my daily routine.  I have recently transferred from Dawson Community College after earning my Associates to further my education towards my Bachelors of Early Education PreK-3rd.  Good luck to everyone and I hope the semester goes smooth for all of us.

My husband (Kris) and I have been married for 4 years. We currently have 1 daughter, Hennessey, who is 18 months old. We will also be welcoming our second daughter in 2 weeks!!
My husband is currently deployed with the Army National Guard so for the time being I am a single mom. We hope to welcome him back home before next Halloween. 
I enjoy time to myself, reading and hiking outdoors!
I always enjoy taking these courses as I almost always learn a ton of information that is relevant in my career and daily life. 
I am so excited to learn and grow with everyone this semester!
