         <description><![CDATA[<div>Initial Care - <sup>You may need immediate medical attention for an avulsion, depending on the severity of the wound. Treatment may include antibiotic ointment for the affected area, as well as medication<br></sup>Post Care - <sup>Keep wound dry for 24 hours, then remove bandage and shower normally. Cleanse wound gently, allowing soap and water to run over wound, but do not scrub. Keep wound moist with Polysporin ointment or Vaseline, and cover daily with a clean non-stick bandage.</sup></div>]]></description>

Deeper cuts may need stitches or staples to stop bleeding and reduce scarring<br></sup>Post Care - <sup>Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 to 48 hours after stitches have been placed. Then, you can start to gently wash around the site 1 to 2 times daily. Wash with cool water and soap. Clean as close to the stitches/staples as you can.
