Name: Kyr Ommel S. Dela Rosa
Grade & Section: 11 - STEM 4 GROUP A

"Strong Men Don't Cry"

I don't think the basis of being strong as a man is to not cry. As for my perspectives, men do cry because of pain not because they're not strong. For me, being strong is about how you handle yourself to get out in the agony. On how you stand up from the sore and how you endure the pain of the thorns. Men are not robots nor a machine to not feel the sorrows in life. We men do have emotions, we also get hurt, we feel the pain but we most likely do not show it publicly among the people in our circle because of the fright from being stereotyped and judged. But when we are alone, we do cry or just frown. I would also like to address that it's okay to cry. After all, crying doesn't mean that you're weak and not strong except for those delusional people who were perceived by their lunatic mentality. It only means that you get hurt from the rainy seasons of your psychedelic. What really matters is that behind those tears of yours, you managed to stand up on your own feet, continuously facing the reality without being unfazed by the affliction of storms and shallows, and unceasingly fight for what you stand in life. And for me, it's the definition of being strong. To bear predicaments to make an aesthetic difference for one's self. Well that's only my preferences about this subject, I hope you respect my opinion. Hehehhehe… No hate, spread love.💖💖💖💖

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Section:Grade 11-ABM 1(Group 3)
#Wall❤️
-For me, it is not always true that strong men don't cry. Crying is natural. It is okay for a man to cry it happens when someone is connected to their hearts that can tears them apart when that special someone leaves.Crying is just another emotion like tears of joy, ecstasy and laughter. Also it is the only way we can release our stress when there is pain or out of joy. Two reasons too are physical and emotional pain right? Physical pain we can dealt it but Emotional pain is not. So it is our another emotion given us by nature. So it is not wrong for men to cry. After all we are humans as well.
#ThinkBeforeYouClick 😊

Section: STEM 4-B
#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Men are humans too. They too have emotions. Why do people say "men should not cry". In which scripture or book is it written that it is formidable for men to cry. A sensible human would not buy this. For being a man, one need to hide his feelings. More than anything else, boys are told from the tender age that they are not supposed to cry. They are told if they cry they are weak, men are not weak and they don't cry. During their growth years, they are taught not to express themselves by crying. In the long run, this ruins their ability to manage emotions. The impact will last for their entire life. They start believing that real and strong men don't cry. This hypocrisy leads men to hide their real self and authenticity. That is the reason they grow up to be men who suppress their feelings. They cut themselves off from these emotions because society encourages men not to express themselves by crying or letting out their emotions. Being strong has nothing to do with letting out our emotions. On the other hand, men who are strong enough display their emotions. They are not unmanly if they do so, they are humans.
💕😔
We have to show our emotion..

Section: G11 STEM3
"Strong men don't cry"
I strongly disagree with this statement simply because strength cannot be defined just by crying. Most men are afraid to show their true emotions. They are labeled as “weak” if they cry.Gender and emotion stereotypes suggest that men do not and should not cry. Masculinity behaviour associated with men and boys suggested that all boys should be strong, brave and confident. And let us change that mentality, hiding your emotions doesn’t show any strength at all it just portraying someone’s cowardness.Strong are those who are brave enough to show what they really feel, we all have emotions, we all experience breakdowns. Let us normalize men crying.

I strongly Disagree with this statement because everyone has a right to express their feelings regardless of what gender they belong. Men also have feelings. Strength doesn't have to mean suppressing our emotions to appear stiff, strength comes in our ability to face and win battles no one knows about. Reasonable human would not accept this. For
being a man, one need not to shroud his sentiments. More than all else, young men are told from the youthful age that
they shouldn't cry. They are told in the event that they cry they are feeble, men are not powerless and they don't
cry.During their development years, they are instructed not to communicate by crying. Over the long haul, this demolishes
their capacity to oversee feelings. The effect will keep going for as long as they can remember. They begin accepting that
genuine and tough men don't cry. This lip service drives men
to shroud their genuine self and realness. That is the
explanation they grow up to be men who stifle their
sentiments. They cut themselves off from these feelings
since society urges men not to communicate by crying or
letting out their emotions.Being solid has nothing to do with
letting out our feelings. Then again, men who are sufficient
presentation their feelings. They are not unmanly on the off
chance that they do as such, they are people.

"STRONG MEN DON'T CRY"

From my deepest thoughts about men is opposite from yours, though most of us have the mindset that man will be a man, there were born to be strong, men should be strong because they are the breadwinner of the family, men should be able to carry their own family from poverty and must provide their family needs, taxes, etc. that is why they need to be strong and not to cry over their responsibilities in practically. For me, a true man has the weakest heart but has the strongest beliefs. A true man will let his tears fall to his cheeks because those tears refer to his sincerity and honesty. A true man will cry because this is what makes him stronger, not just strong like lifting heavy things but lifting heavy responsibilities with dignity. Strong men don't mean that they should not cry for such a thing but a true man will cry privately because that is what makes him stronger, their sincerity for that thing. The word “strong” does not mean “not to cry” but being strong is when men independently overcome much worse thing.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade & Section: 11-STEM 4- Group A

"Strong men don't cry"

People should learn how to express themselves without judging themselves because it’s ok to cry, it’s ok to admit you’re not well. Don’t bottle up all your emotions and let it get to that point. Toxic Masculinity is real and should never be normalized because men too have feelings and we have our breaking point. Crying doesn't mean that men are weak because men can cry everytime when they are tired, when they are hurt, and just like women they also deserve equal amounts of respect and love. Usually they don't open up about their feelings and agonies because society thinks that when a man cries, they are considered weak when in fact it represents the opposite way. Being strong has nothing to do with crying, but on how you stand up despite the pain and make that situation as an incentive rather than a negative outcome that will destroy you.

#Think before you click

Grade & Section: 11- STEM 4- Group A

"Strong men don't cry"
I think society should forget that mindset because it is okay to cry. Crying isn’t a sign of weakness and it’s even healthier to let it out than keeping it to yourself. Those who are more comfortable being vulnerable and connected to their feelings are stronger and genuine than those who don’t. I also think that “strong men don’t cry” is a defense mechanism to some since they do not want to admit defeat and they don’t want to be called “gay”. But, one can be only be called strong when they let their feelings show and those who are afraid to let others see that they are down in the dumps are still in the process of growing and learning to be a wonderful person.

Grade & Section: 11 STEM 4- Group A
"Strong men don't cry"

I strongly disagree with that. Being strong can't be determined by a person's emotions. It's okay to feel sad, it's okay to cry. I don't care if you're a girl, a boy, or other than that. Don't let other people say that you're weak just because there are tears falling down your cheeks. You've been strong enough to be here right now, alive and kicking. Crying means you've been through a lot and it's fine to let off the steam at some point in our lives. I also think that crying actually makes us feel good, scientifically proven that crying helps to ease physical and emotional pain. It's not a sign of weakness but rather a self-care. So if you want to cry, just cry. Men shouldn’t be seen or portrayed as if they are robots without feelings, they are human, they have the right to feel any kind of emotions. Stop with the stereotypes and stop with toxic masculinity.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Crying is not gender-based, all people can cry without being judged by society. Men are humans too. They also have emotions. Being strong has nothing to do with keeping your emotions. Crying doesn’t make them unmanly, it makes them humans. Capable of being hurt, allowed to burst out their emotions, and should not be judged in crying. Men should not be shy or afraid to show their sensitive side. Hence, displaying emotions is a strength and not a weakness.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

That narrative has been been instilled in our minds in the very beginning we gained consciousness, this lead men, especially men, to be very bad communicators. I could only agree to this statement depending on the situation. If it’s only a for a petty reason to cry, it’s not actually considered as a ‘strong man’ anymore. Also, I disagree in this statement because sometimes, letting out your emotions doesn’t immediately imply that someone is weak, man or woman. It actually makes someone brave because they could let out their emotions to others or themselves.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade & Section: 11 STEM 4B

"Strong men don't cry."
Strong and real men do cry. Men are humans too and it is totally normal for a human to cry as an expression of emotion. Why did someone ever come up with the thought of men crying is a form of weakness, childishness, or gayness? I cannot believe many people support and normalize this misandry. No one should be judged on how they express their emotion based on their gender. Whether you’re a male or a female, you have the right to cry all your tears out. Crying actually is beneficial not only to one’s mental health but also to their physical health. Imagine not having the consolation you need just because you can’t express your feelings because of a society that tells you crying is not for boys. Imagine not having the comfort you have always wanted just because you are afraid of what others may think of you. It must be hard. It really is hard. No man on earth should feel like their emotions are being controlled by a society who barely even knows how they truly feel. Let no one tell you what to do. This mindset must be put to an end and just let boys be as emotional as they can get. Stop telling young boys that tearing up equates to weakness --- it only molds them to a world where suppressing feelings is a must, when in fact, it really is not. Just let them be their true self and let them express their emotions as freely as ladies can. Discourage misandry as much as how you want to discourage misogyny.

We know that a lot of men wouldn’t want to cry or show emotions because they’re afraid to be called weak and getting judge. For me, it’s okay to react and let go of your emotions because what ever you do there’s really something that would break you down. You cried even from the day you were born. You may be letting go of your feelings and emotions but the end of the day you stood up and face that problems.

Grade & Section: Grade 11 STEM 4 Group A
"Strong men don't cry"

This line is inappropriate and doesn’t make any sense. Humans are designed to receive, evaluate, and express feelings. We cannot make up one’s mind that he/she should do this or shouldn’t do that. We are owned by our own selves. No one can dictate whether what to say, what to do, and most especially what to feel. Men are humans too. They also have their feelings. We shouldn’t hold onto this belief and let us start to recognize and respect the multiple sides that make any person who he/she is, without focusing so specifically on the qualities that define traditional gender differences. Let us learn to pay attention on how to understand others’ feelings rather than to focus on irrelevant definitions of who we are and how we should be. We are all faced with various problems everyday and it is normal to feel down and broken sometimes and it is up to us on how we will be dealing with our problems. I think all of us just cry often when we don’t understand what’s happening anymore. Letting those tears pour out has somewhat been our way to loosen up things. Let us be mindful and considerate towards the feelings of others especially for men who aren't able to express what they really feel because of what society tells them to do so.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade and Section: Grade 11 - STEM 4 (Group B)

"Strong Men Don't Cry"

As I have read the post written on your wall saying that “Strong Men Don’t Cry”, I beg to disagree since we are all humans after all and that doesn’t define the strength of a man just by that statement. We all have feelings and emotions, and we experience them. Just by mere crying doesn’t mean that we are weak, but instead we show true braveness and strength because we have the courage to show what we really feel without caring about what people think of us. We are strong because we showed our true selves into the world and that we are being transparent. It has been idealized that men should suppress how they feel because showing it means displaying weakness. But, let me tell you that it’s exactly the opposite of that. Instead, they are the representation of cowardness because they are in hiding, and that doesn’t show strength at all. We should basically stop this idealization said by the statement because we are humans, men are humans, and they experience feelings and emotions too.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade & Section: Grade 11 STEM 4 Group A
"Strong men don't cry"

The strength of a man isn't only limited to holding back their tears. Although being tough is one quality of a man we should not generalize them, because every man is not the same. We all have different lives to deal with. For men, crying shouldn't make them less of a man and be called weak. The way I see it, for a man to cry just shows bravery and courage rather than being a coward and forcing himself to hide his true feelings because of the fear that society might judge him. Crying doesn't measure how strong a person is and it surely isn't supposed to become the basis of what a strong man is.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

We all have feelings, we do cry when we can't handle things anymore. Men are known for being good w/ hiding their feelings and that thing is somewhat romanticized by others, which they shouldn't. We are all human, and in HIS eyes we are totally equal. People do cry, even men. Crying doesn't define how strong a person is. Men are human too, crying has nothing to do with strengths and etc. We all have emotions, we experience break downs, so I guess this explains why.

"THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK"

Grade 11 STEM 4 A

"Strong Men Don't Cry"
That statement is an example of toxic masculinity. Men always have difficulty expressing their emotions. Society dictates that boys must be raised to believe in their strength, confidence, and composure as the core of being a man. That failing to suppress their emotions, other than anger, makes them weak and girly. They'll learn to bottle up their sadness and avoid expressing their real emotions, and over time, will lead to dysfunctional emotional expression, or worse, depression. Thus, this toxic gender-centered mentality needs to end. We need to teach the younger generations that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being emotionally sensitive
regardless of someone's gender. We are all humans and we feel things. It's all-natural.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade and Section: 11 STEM 4 Group A

"Strong men don't cry"
Throughout history, emotional tears have been considered a weakness in many cultures, and it is often seen as a more feminine thing to do. But I would strongly disagree to that stereotyping. Men showing their tears, in my opinion, is a sign of manliness. Men are human too. They also have feelings. Well, some of them are not really that expressive and good at hiding their emotions. But I know that they also feel unhappy sometimes. Men should acknowledge their pain for them to move on from that situation. And crying is part of that process. For me, a man's capacity to cry indicates his honesty and integrity. It is actually healthier to cry than keeping it to himself for the benefit of his mental health. Shedding tears means that the person lived by a code of values and that person cares to show emotion when things went wrong. Crying is a very effective thing to do to ease the pain, proven and tested.

#Thinkbeforeyouclick

Grade and Section : 11 STEM 4 Group A

"Strong men don't cry"
We all have the right to let go of our emotions or our burden that we feel inside and from the statement “Strong men don’t cry” I highly disagree with that. For me, I think most guys don't have the courage to cry in front of other people or anyone that he is close with, but the truth is, they do cry. They do have feelings, all of us have feelings and once we get broken or hurt over something that’s the part that we can’t control our tears. Maybe some guys are strong enough to hide what they really feel but deep down they are hurting and they just don’t wanna show it because they were taught that men should be “tough” at all times. Also, I think letting go of what we feel or specifically crying is good for our heart to ease the pain or to reduce the stress that we feel. So for me, we don’t have to hide the pain that we feel inside just to prove that we are strong. If we are really strong, we must learn how to express what we feel and how to endure the pain. We are not called humans if we don’t have emotions or feelings that we need to show, specifically by crying.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Ayos
Grade & Section: 11 STEM 4 B

"Strong men don't cry"
I do not agree that strong men don't cry. Most men are afraid to show their true emotions. They are labeled as “weak” if they cry. Strong men won't show expression in front of someone, they don't want people to see their soft spot and make them think that they are not strong enough, they have soft spot and they don't want to reveal it. They want to be alone in order for them to show what they feel and what they think, we may see that they're strong, but it's not. They just want to see their soft side unless if it's needed to release their pain, suffering, and agony. Strong men cry when the situation calls for it. Not because they cry they aren't strong anymore, they cry because they are strong enough to handle the situation even if it lingers with pain.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade 11 HUMSS 6
"Strong Men Don't Cry"

First of all men are still humans. They have feelings and emotions. They can cry all they want. Crying doesn’t make you weak, in my opinion it makes you strong. By crying, you release all the sadness you have felt and after that you will stand and cry no more. People will always say that men who cries are babies when it fact they are not. When people say that you won’t cry on something to be sad of then they will say you are cold. Any man can cry as much as a woman does. We cry, we laugh, we get angry, or we can show any emotions that we feel. WE ARE HUMANS. Let us not say strong men don’t cry, they do. Let them show or feel the feelings they want.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

We are supposed to always be the strong ones. We are supposed to never show that we are hurt or in pain. Women are supposed to be the emotional ones. If we cry in front of others, we will be labeled as "soft or weak". Many men were similarly raised to be tough and not to show weakness but let's normalize men crying because showing of emotion is normal and men have feelings too.

#THINKBEFOREYOUCLICK

Grade 11 STEM 4 A
"Strong Men Don't Cry"

What others think about us has been an everyday problem. We let the opinions of others decide how we ought to live our lives and the opinion of everyone has been of great contribution of how others perceive men in general. The society’s expectation of men is that they are supposed to be strong, tough and never get hurt because simply they are ‘men’. Men showing emotions would mean they are weak or soft and that women should only be the one to get emotional. Hypermasculinity has been running for centuries and the reason why men grew up suppressing their own feelings.

Real and strong men do cry. They are human too and has feelings and emotion. It is part of life. Being strong has nothing to do with crying nor showing emotions and for me men showing their emotions are the strong ones because the fact that they are not shy and afraid to show their emotions to others make them tough. Crying is calming, alleviates pain and helpful to our mental and physical health. As the Philippines celebrates this month, October, the Mental Health Awareness Month, we should take good care of our and other’s mental health, not only in the month of October but in every day. That is why we should start getting rid of the toxic masculinity and start accepting that is it natural for men to cry.

#THINKBEFOREYOUCLICK

Each of us human beings whom God created has feelings. We can feel anger, joy, sorrow, and many more. For me, strong men do cry particularly in difficult moments of their lives. You could not see them crying in front of you as they prefer doing it in private. Maybe they don't want everyone to see them crying as society perceive men as strong and expect them not to show any emotions because it means they are weak. It gives us a sense of being a human with emotions or feelings and expressing them is not a bad thing. The fact that everyone including strong men can be vulnerable at times creates a positive mindset making them feel like they have also their right to be sad and to cry that expressing through crying benefits a person’s emotional wellbeing.

Why would you say that? Emotions are gifts from God that enable us to express our feelings towards our environment. These emotions could be good or bad that could define our true selves but not all emotions are genuine. Some people are just pretending for them to be liked by others. Some are forced to pretend just to not get embarrassed. True happiness begins when you become true to yourself. It's just this toxic mentality is blocking us from being our true self especially to men. We can't help it but we can make a difference by making a choice. I tell you, those people that are afraid to show their emotions are the true cowards. Those people that don't care showing their emotions whatever their face will look like and don’t care getting embarrassed for crying, those people are the brave and strong ones. No matter what gender you are, we have the right to cry!
#THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qz7EsTgybinlwb0l0t5CD0MsKIzU3u2S/view?usp=sharing

"Strong Men Don't Cry"

I don't believe that strong men never cry because we also have feelings to feel the pain and sadness. All of us has a weaknesses also when it comes in emotion but if you see a men crying it means that we cannot handle the pain anymore. Men may not tell what they feel but look at their eyes you will see their pain.

I disagree. In my opinion, even if men look tough outside they are still a human, they can also feel pain because they have feelings. It doesn’t mean that if a man cries he is automatically ‘weak’ that is toxic masculinity. If a man cries, that doesn’t make him less a human nor a man.

#ThinkBeforeYouClick

Grade 11 HUMSS 6
I disagree about that quote because men also have their feelings and they can also feel pain. We have to change our mindset or beliefs that men should be brave all the time or they can’t cry, because like us, women, they also have weaknesses and they also need someone to rely on.
