We pierce our bodies and tattoo our skin for entertainment and amusement. We also die our hair as a symbol of uniqueness. Tattoos are more seen upon the younger generations rather than grandparents and parents. Some tattoos may have meanings but more often than not, people get them because they are “cool”. Piercings and revealing clothing is generally worn by younger generations to symbolize the fact that they are young, beautiful and free.

They also put food outside for the birds to eat as a ritual to return the food to nature and earth. They sit cross-legged with their families and chant a prayer to God before even touching the food. They also are meant to eat like it’s their last meal.

Typically americans eat breakfast around 6-7:30 when they have school or work. Lunch around 12-1pm and dinner 5-7 usually. And in between meals usually will have snacks. Sometimes with the American culture it’s “go, go, go” and meals are skipped but generally they follow this schedule.
