         <title>Senators, influenced too much by powerful companies, because senators were picked by state representatives.  This made it easier  for big companies to bribe (pay) senators to only look out for their interests, and not the people they represented. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today you will work in a group to create a padlet on a specific Reformer. You will be put in breakout rooms to start, and once in the room figure out how to work together to create a padlet for your classmates.  Below are the directions:<br>1. First step is to watch the video on the google hyperdoc of your reformer or event either as a group or individually.<br>2.  Meet back in your breakout group to discuss the following:  <br>A.  What was the Problem the person/event that needed to be solved and why was it a problem. <br>B. How did the person solve this problem, shat did they do?  If it is an event, who came up with the solution? {Government, Labor Unions, the Public) <br>C. How did this solution correct the problem?<br>3. Next go to padlet.com and choose the shelf layout.<br>4. Put in the 5 Columns.<br>5. Decide who is doing what column.<br>6.  As a group decide what design you want to use for your padlet.  It should reflect the reformer or event. </div>]]></description>
