Economic - Personal Income
This is when people are working a full time or part time job and earning a wage. Once they have spent money on bills etc. they will have disposable income left which will determine what products they can buy as luxuries.

Personal  - Age
The age of a person will determine what they will buy. Buying for themselves would be different for buying for others. A teenager wouldn't go out and buy something old like a vinyl for themselves. They would go out and buy modern technology.

Psychological - Motivation
According to Maslow's Hierarchy, you need to start off at the bottom of the hierarchy and meet basic needs in order to move up. Linking this to consumer behaviour is you can't buy something you don't need without buying things you need like food and water and shelter (homes). As you move up the hierarchy, you become motivated.

Cultural and Social - Culture
Within your family, there will be beliefs and traditions and future generations would inherit these and these belief's and traditions would determine what you buy. For example, some people do not celebrate Christmas so they would not buy Christmassy things. However someone that does celebrate it, would buy the Christmas decorations and presents.

<sup>
</sup>

Personal factors - A lot of factors about the individual come into affect. For example; the Age, lifestyle, occupation and income of the consumer would be of importance. A toddler would have different needs and wants compared to a 60 year old (Person of a higher age). The occupation is also important. As a rich person (Higher income), for example a highly paid footballer, would think about purchasing expensive things instead of finding cheaper alternatives in most occasions, compared to a person on a lower wage. This would also have a huge affect the Lifestyle of the consumer. Some consumers would not care about how expensive or cheap the products which they purchase and consume are, This depends of there Personality and self concept. - I think

Stacey Edwards x Economic - (Family Income)> The amount of income that a family has coming into their house hold will influence what they decide to spend their money on. Their income will allow them to either buy products that are expensive or products that are cheaper.Personal - (Age)> How old an individual is will affect what they chose to buy. The older generation are more likely to purchase products they are used to whereas younger consumers are always trying to keep up with the modern products. Age can also affect how much a person spends as older individuals are on a higher working wage.Psychological - (Attitude)>An individuals attitude will influence what they decide to spend their money on. An example of this is a hard working individual who works Monday to Friday and decides to spend their money on fundraising and charity versus a lazy individual who sits on benefits, does little work and spends what little money they have on themselves. Cultural & Social - (Social Class)>The social class of an individual will affect what they spend their money on because working class people are more likely to save their money and spend if their is an offer or budget whereas a first class will spend all their money and not worry, the social class affects what pay each individual has.
