The product should make the customers to feel comfort and safe, and inorder to do that the material designers has to use materials that are cheap and safe and make sure that the customers are comfortable about it.

Advantages:  Stainless steel pots and pans are the great gear for any kitchen, as they are highly durable, easy to clean and shiny look.  The  Durability, less money and less Maintenance made it a good choose other than normal pots

Disadvantages: As the meterial used is to be stainless, the meterial will effect the heat conductivity of the pots. A steel stainless pot will have a poor conductivity conparing to other pots such as aluminum or copper.

The designer need to choose materials that fit. The material must not be too expensive and it need to be environment friendly. There are some materials that is dangerous like plastic, so the designer need to use materials that is fit for the product. Plastic is made easily but it cannot decompose. If the costumers use plastic, which is non reusable, we will create pollution. So it's to the designer to choose the best material. 

Spoon, forks and knives are made out of metal. The reason why it is made out of metal is that metal is reusable. We could use it more than one time and we don't need to trash them. Steal spoon and forks are made to save our environment. If we use plastic spoon, we will have to trash them. Plastic is not reusable to we can only use it once. Plastic also cannot decompose. There will be landfills and trash everywhere. By using metal like steal, we are saving the environment. It is also better for our health.
