Franky

The rise of Christianity impacted the lives of Romans, as most of them were tortured. Due to them being misunderstood, such as mistaking some rituals to be incest or cannibalism. Many of the followers or even apostles had died, considering there was much suspicion around the religion. For instance, Thomas was impaled by a spear and Peter was crucified. Though it could be inferred that the effect of Christianity was the wide spread of it's belief of going to heaven. The large spread caused fear amongst the Romans, so they decided to torture Lord's followers or per se sons of God, though Jesus is often referred to as Son of God. They disliked the Christian religion, as the Roman emperor should be the one to be worshiped. However, according to the Bible in Romans 12:19 its states, " "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. " Though they may not know much of the religion, it should be though that they have a brief understanding. For revenge or to inflict pain is unadvised within the Bible.

When Paul began spreading Jesus's teachings while on the road to Damascus, he made up books, which were sent to early churches and individuals, and they included explanations of the gospels, advice, etc. When he returned to Jerusalem he was arrested. When Roman leaders had realized that Christianity had become popular, they feared the new religion, and posed a threat to the Roman Empire, so they made Christianity illegal.
