Is flexible working time something that most employees dream of? If we ask ourselves why this type of work is becoming so popular, what answers can we get? Here are some of them.

First, a big plus for the employee is that he gets an opportunity to regulate his own working process. In essence, he regulates the beginning of the work day and its completion.

Secondly, it gives the company an opportunity for divided teams to communicate more. Large companies have offices in different locations, and it is not easy for employees to communicate with each other because of the time difference.

In fact, it may seem that there are advantages to flexible working times, but there are also minuses. The employee needs to build their work processes correctly, so as not to give in to the lure of doing personal things. The company needs to develop a corporate culture so that employees would understand the responsibility assigned to them.

In my opinion, working in a company with flexible working time gives the employee an opportunity to balance work and time off more easily. Life becomes much easier with the <del>ability </del>possibility to manage morning and evening hours. Living in big cities, people often forget that time is a very important currency. And if the company allows you to use it to the maximum benefit, it is really worth it <del>a lot</del>.

Did the pandemic destroy the usual work model? We should be in no doubt that it is a singular step forward. I’ll have an answer soon.

One thing to consider is a COVID-19, which forced organizations to adapt quickly to remote work options. And that was the first time when most people faced managing their work hours as well.

So, let’s start with advantages. Firstly, if you plan your work carefully, you will be able to do more, and it will take you less time (p.s. and customer money). And as a result, it allows employees to get to the doctor, stop for a haircut. In other words, allows us to get more time for domestic chores. Apart from that, the capability to work is increasing. In my opinion this effect can happen in the case of flexible managing. You can change the time you start or finish work! Sounds good?

Besides, around half of employees now work flexibly in some form, others say they want flexibility in their next position. If you ask me: do we have any minuses in this system? Sure. Working from home can be really hard for people <del>whose </del>who have some neighbors. I’d say that every home worker i<del>n finding of</del> needs to find a solution for that. In <del>additional </del>addition to this, you will not have enough offline communication, which can raise team spirit.

To sum up, everyone should decide, which approach is the best for them. For me, you need to try both methods.

Nowadays, a lot of companies are trying to implement the system of flexible working hours in their working process. So, what is it? Why is it so <del>popularly </del>popular in recent <del>year </del>years? I will try to answer<del> on </del>these questions and share my opinion about flextime.

To begin with, there are a lot of benefits of flextime for employees and employers. The flextime system can allow you to be more productive. You can work in the most convenient time for you. You have more free time, and you can plan your working day as you wish. Also, you will feel happier and more active. In <del>additional </del>addition to this, employers have benefits of flextime. They spend less money on the office’s bills, their employees spend less time on the working place.

Anyway, there is nothing without drawbacks in our world. The flextime system has some of them too. For example, if you work in a big team, it might be a bit difficult to <del>be </del>sync in together and work at the same time. It is not good <del>as </del>both for employees <del>as </del>and for employers, because the speed of the working process can fall.

If you ask me, I would like to work with using flextime. It’s more suitable for me. I like getting up when I want and choosing the most convenient time for working.

Finally, I would like to say that the system of flexible working hours <del>become </del>is getting more widespread, but it’s up to you to work with such a system or not.

To begin with I need to say that the world has changed a lot since 2018. The pandemic has changed our mind, habits, the normal course of life of hundreds of thousands of people with different professions, religions, worldviews. Besides, many companies have also adapted to the new rules of changed global market. Some of them have begun to use flextime as a measure to reduce the risk of their employees getting sick. So, I want to tell you, reader, my opinion about this new feature, flextime.

To begin with I should mark the main benefits of working flextime. Firstly, it is <del>ability </del>a possibility to regulate your work time on your own. You can mix different needs for you with work to make a good plan for a day. Secondly, you are more free in time when to start your work day and when to end it.

On the other hand, it is hard sometimes to have <del>correct </del>the right border between personal life and work and in addition to this if you are working in a big team it will be harder to communicate with each other due to different working hours.

As for me working flextime gives many opportunities to create a very good balance between work and life.

More and more companies are switching to a flextime working time every day. Why? Is a flextime system really that good? Let's try to figure out what are the pros and cons of flextime on the part of the company as well as on the part of the employee.

Firstly, let's start on the part of the employee.
The advantages of flextime include an absolutely free work schedule of the employee. It's so cool when you only have a deadline, and you can work from anywhere and as much as you want, right? Furthermore, no need to think about dress code or get up early in the morning.
It seems to me that the only disadvantage is that it is difficult to solve work issues with a colleague if you have a large gap in your work time.

Now let's discuss the pros and cons on the part of the company. The company doesn't need to rent large offices, service personnel. Besides, the company can hire qualified employees from different time zones. But there are downsides. For example, it is quite difficult to control workers when working remotely. But business does not like to spend extra money and pay employees for nothing. Therefore, daily meetings are added to the employee's daily schedule to check the workflow and the result of your work.

To sum up, I want to say that flextime has both disadvantages and advantages. But in my opinion, the advantages are much greater. I love that I have the choice to work from home or from the office. I can balance work and my free time as well. And I want to continue to work with the flextime system.

Have you ever thought about flexible working hours? Was it your conscious choice? Or is it the employer's trick to get you to work more for the same money?

First, you need to understand if a flexible schedule is right for you. Agree, this is a lot of advantages for both employees and management. Employees can plan their working hours more easily and use breaks more flexibly. Let’s look at the system of flexible working hours from different angles.

To begin with, there are several benefits for employees such as time management and scheduling for personal needs. In my opinion, it is a great advantage if you are a student who needs to learn at university in the mornings. You have the opportunity to work whether in the evenings or <del>on </del>at weekends. Also, if you have several different activities simultaneously.

Survival guide for a job with flexible working hours

Have you ever been disappointed with the result of your work during the day using flextime? I would like to share my thoughts <del>around </del>about advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, I will propose several tips from my side.
Usually, people are aware enough of the advantages. There <del>is </del>exists a problem from the employers’ side as well. If an organization has unusual working processes that create an innovation in the work organization, then it can’t estimate work capacity in a predictable way.

Nowadays, more and more companies are trying to implement flextime for their employees. This is dictated primarily by the restrictions associated with the epidemiological situation in the world. But this trend is also supported to increase the attractiveness of the company for employees. This approach has both advantages and disadvantages. What are the advantages of such a way? Do they outweigh the disadvantages?

First, the transition to a flexible work schedule and the ability to work from home allows employees to make the most efficient use of their time and maintain their work-life balance at a quite high level <del>enaugh</del>. This is primarily achieved by saving time that employees spend on the road to and from work. In addition, different employees work more efficiently at different times due to their habits and lifestyle (hello mornings and night owls). Also, the employees <del>himself </del>themselves choose<del>s </del>how much time <del>he needs</del> they need for lunch, and how much time it will take. Besides, this approach allows employees to spend more time with their families.

There are benefits for companies too. First of all, this is savings on rent and maintenance of premises for employees. <del>As well as </del>Also, the company becomes more attractive to new employees. And existing employees are more satisfied with the working conditions. This path also allows for extended hours for departments such as customer service.

But flexible working hours have their downsides. In team-oriented departments, teams still need to meet, which requires some effort for the manager. Moreover, employees may be unnecessarily distracted from work during the day, working fewer hours than planned. In addition, the team spirit is reduced. Employees may no longer feel like part of a team. Think they work harder than their peers.

From my point of view, flexible working in general has more advantages than disadvantages. Various studies confirm that this approach improves the economic efficiency of the enterprise and improves the emotional background for employees. But, all this works thanks to conscientiousness and trust between the employee and the employer.
