In this picture book "Oliver Button is a sissy" By Tomie dePaola , the stereotype is that they call Oliver a sissy only because he doesn't like doing stuff boys like to do ans the stereotype is being challenged because the main character id the victim of bulling but he ignores them and keeps doing his things like going to dance lessons and ignores that all the kids make fun of him only because he takes dance lessons, Oliver is Confident and brave because he doesn't let anyone get to him, this makes him respond to the problem by him entering the talent show and trying his best and that impress the kids from his school and left them speechless and all the boys in his school stop calling him names and On the schools wall the erased "Oliver is a sissy" to "Oliver is a star"

"Gender Roles-Interviews with kids"

In this video "Gender Roles-Interviews with kids" theirs more than one perpetrator the kids in this video are perpetrators, the people that have suffer from being treated badly because of gender roles are the victims. The interviewers in this case they wanted to know the opinion of kids about gender roles. one thing that really shocked me was that the interviewer asked the kids to describe boys and they responded there stronger than girls, don't cry, don't like pink, Another thing the interviewer ask to point at a barbie doll or Ken doll when they asked a question, one of the question was who does chores? All the kids girls and boys pointed at barbie. Another question was who takes care of the kids? Everyone one pointed at barbie, and when they asked the question who goes to work everyone pointed at the Ken doll.

In the second video "Ad shows girls' true colors aren't pink" society is the perpetrator because society makes people think that girls like pink but is more than that they also perceive girls as weak and bad at sports. The up-standers are he girls in the video because there standing up for girls and they use powerful words to describe girls and perceive them as more than a girl that likes pink and someone weak. they one people to know that they could be as strong as boys and do the same stuff hey can do like play sports and play with building toys the powerful word they used such as "you like to buy us pink toys and the rest is for boys"

The overall topic about the poem "Gender roles" By unknown is about gender roles and the issues people have base of their gender. The poem was about society and how society sees man and woman and also about the stuff society wants to say but cant say and it also talks about gender stereotypes like men cant cry or men have power over woman. The part that was the most powerful part from the poem was "Society stop telling boys they cant wear pink or cant cry, you leave them to bottle up their feelings inside, Then proceed to wonder why male suicide rate is so high" this part is a big part to the poem because is talking about the common gender roles society has towards boys. Another part that i think is powerful is "You are of my words wanting them to go away but I'm just telling what society can never seem to say" this part is big to the poem because is talking how society wants to talk about gender roles and how there hurting people.

"An Obstacle"
The poem "An Obstacle" By Charlotte Perkins Gilman is about gender. The poem was bout a woman that was trying to get trough a path but she couldn't because there was man siting in the way she asked him nicely to move multiple times but he didn't he just ignored her .one part that i thought was powerful in the poem was " I begged him on my knees;

I might be kneeling still

If so I hoped to move " because she shouldn't be on her knees begging him to move.
