A sea of middle schoolers rush out of school for the last of the week with nothing but a smile on their face as they prepare for the weekend. As the kids wait for their rides outside of the school, two middle schoolers, Milton Jr. and Vanessa, are particularly excited for the events that will soon make up their Friday evening. As Milton and Vanessa wait, they are all too familiar with the sight that is approaching them from the line cars ready to pick up their kids. A rocking black SUV rolling up with the windows down and pop country playing loud enough for everyone to hear. In the driver seat is a groovy blonde with tinted sunglasses on sporting a more than excited look on her face. Milton and Venessa can feel the excitement rushing within them as they turn to each other and say, “Moms here!”. The "cool mom to be" was born in a small town outside of Erie, Pennsylvania, it was here that Harley began her most joyous life. Harley had a lively childhood messing around, getting in trouble, and playing with one her best friends growing up, her older sister. Besides her sister though, Harley grew up living with her mom and dad as well. Harley started her school career off by attending St. George’s grade school but would only stay there until around third or fourth grade before transferring to General McLane middle school along with her sister. She would end up staying at General McLane for the remainder of middle school and would go on to attend General McLane High School after. While at high school Harley would participate on the school’s softball team and her freshman year she was part of the 2016 D-10 winning team, the first time winning D-10 in school history. She would go on to continue playing softball her sophomore year, when the team took second in D-10, and her junior year. Going into her senior year Harley planned to focus more on her schoolwork, so she refrained from playing softball to truly prepare herself for college. At first, college was a little difficult to get into for Harley with all of stresses and presser that comes with college, but she soon found her way through college life and really started to succeed. She constantly got A’s and B’s on her all of her transcripts and was able finish out her college career with a degree in nursing which helped her gain a job right out of college in the field of anesthesiology. She was offered a position of an anesthesiology assistant at UPMC Hamot, a large local hospital, and Harley just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. It was at the hospital that Harley met her future husband, Milton. Harley is still the same outgoing, fun loving, and easy-going girl as she always was, now she just has kids to take care of. Harley still enjoys the activities of her younger self like hanging out with friends and going shopping but now she also enjoys playing with her kids and taking her family to new places.
