It was the best decision to join this project. Meet so many good people, had many good conversations and learned a new skill that relaxes you. I made a hat and a pair of socks! I gained a skill of making things for myself, which I think is priceless. Being in this knitting circle will always be a very good memory of my Erasmus exchange! ❤️

I started my very first kitting project, a hat with the Kitting Circlet. And I'm doing my second project now.
I find kitting as a great way of relaxing.
It gives me so much of pleasure when I see final outcome!!! :)

Knitting circle is so helpful and welcoming new comers. It is a great way to meet new people and to have lovely conversations with nice people.

I have a lot of good words for the knitting circle group. From the first day, the girls were super nice and had a lot of patience to teach us how to knit.😊 I am not a very crafty person, but I found myself in knitting and somehow, with the help of the girls, I started enjoying it. I made a pair of socks for my friend. Even though they are not perfect (with quite a lot of rookie mistakes), I really like them. I would like to thank Albina and Tugba for helping me knit the heel of the sock (the most frustrating part) and ensuring that I did not lose my nerves while doing it. And Lila for helping with the embroidery. The circle is really nice experience and I would recommend it, to learn how to knit or just hang out with pretty cool people.
P.S. I know it is a little bit late for the feedback, but it is for you girls, for making this happen.

From the start it such an environment to be in, i enjoyed every minute of the knitting circle. The talks we had with the new friends I made, the knitting and the songs. I didn’t know a thing about knitting when I first started, thanks to our tutors for their patience 🙏🏻, now after making a lot of mistakes I am getting better. I am still not quite finished with my project but i am gonna be this week i hope. Thanks to everybody who let this tutoring to become a reality.

I really enjoyed knitting with amazing people. All of them were helpful and I felt happy during our sessions. I knitted something for the first time and I am proud of me that I was able to reach nice result. Knitting circle made my exchange in Oulu unforgettable.

I have been looking for some kind of knitting club since I moved to Oulu. I am an advanced knitter and just joined with my own project as often as possible. It is really nice to meet with like-minded people and just have a casual knit and chat or exchange ideas and help other members. I hope that this club continues in some kind of form, because I really enjoy it and it is a nice way to unwind after a long day or week.
10/10 would recommend ;-)

The group is a great place for beginners and advanced knitters. It's supportive and you'll always get help and ideas for a new project. I knitted a cabled hat, something I haven't tried before.

This is my first ever knitting experience and I am so glad that I joined with knitting circle. I met awesome people there, saw many wonderful knitting projects, spent quality time with people who have same interests as mine and as a bonus I learned to knit also. 😉 I highly recommend to everyone who love to learn to knit should join knitting circle. I had never even held a knitting needle before coming to the knitting circle. The hosts and everyone in the circle were always ready to help and patiently taught me everything. This is indeed a great place to meet friends and have a relaxing evening with friendly chats while knitting. Now knitting is my new hobby ❤️🧶

A remarkable experience

It all started 3 months ago, I applied to this not knowing what I am getting myself into. I found it in the well-being website.I went there with no previous experience in knitting and was skeptical because in my culture this is not a "guys" thing to do. The first day when I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and it was really heartwarming seeing people so accepting whether you know what you are doing or not. I kept going day after day with my interests rising as i progressed slowly in knitting. Three months later with 2 knitting projects completed and a whole knitting family, I feel like I am at a place that I belong. A special thanks to everyone that helped and to the organizer for keeping up with each person. Thank you Albina, Lila,Tugba and the dear friend Jenna that i made along the way.

No words can express my feelings and gratitude toward this Knitting club. I am so happy to finish my project before the new year 😊. Great thanks to Albina, Lila and Tugba for providing this warm gathering.

Oh dear, i finally made this☺️knitting had been one of my big interest for a long time, but never had a chance to try. I didn’t think I can actually knit someday, but now I can😊From the beginning of the day, everyone in knitting society taught me how to knit kindly and patiently. I really liked and appreciated this calm, safe atmosphere. To spend time with such a beautiful people always gave me motivation and mindfulness experience. Thank you🥰

I’m an exchange student from Germany. I really enjoyed the knitting circle. I didn’t known how to knit and always wanted to learn and in a few weeks I finished my first project. That is so cool and it made my exchange a lot better. I love the environment and in general the idea of bringing people together that share a hobby. It was so fun and relaxing spending 4 hours a week there with all the nice people and the great music. It’s a really good idea and I hope that the knitting circle will go on for a very long time. It’s the best way to relax after a long study day. Thank you guys!

I really like the design of the club where you can bring your own tools to join, or use the “free stuffs” but with a project monitored by the organisers. This is a smart managerial idea! In this regard, most people have a purpose to come here. The atmosphere has been very relaxing, whilst productive enough for participants to knit while socializing. Even there were several special events to watch movies, people always knew the theme was still knitting. I am so happy that this club has been coherently popular throughout the whole semester, with many projects completed! Wish more and more males can feel the charm of knitting.

I started knitting the beautiful twisted headband with the help from sweet tutors, I'm not so good at knitting but Lila, Albina and Tugba were always helpful and their instructions helped me to finish this cute piece of work. ♥️

I enjoyed the time in knitting circle mostly because of all the great people I've met during this relaxing activity. Hope it continues so I can join for starting new projects and finding more friends.

My First Ever Knitting Project

I never knew how to even hold the needles when is first joined the knitting circle. But somehow I was able to complete my first knitting project ( twisted headband) with the help of the sweetest souls in the community, especially Lila, Albina, Anna and Tugba...It was not easy for me since I kept forgetting the knits and making mistakes all the time. But it provided a welcoming environment for me to be comfortable in making mistakes and paved my way to learn this beautiful skill.. I am thankful for all the guidance and help provided by them, especially with a smile on their face always. I am sooo happy I was able to complete my little piece of work🙈 without them this would have still been in my wishlist 🙊

Joining this knitting circle has been so much fun. No matter how stressful my week is I always look forward to meeting the fellow knitters. Even if you have never knitted before, joining this circle is a great idea

My appreciation to the Knitting circle community for making this possible. I went there with zero experience of knitting even scared of the 4 needles😅 but here we are am making it happen. 2 socks down more to go. We appreciate you ladies Albina, Lila & Tuğba for making this beautiful community, we have learnt a lot not only knitting but awhole lot. We have travelled to many countries while sitting in that community.
