A survival among the routine

Often my life feels like a machine

Waking up on my bed that begin to leave

I smile because even those close to me don’t believe

Be lessoned in university without day off

Strive for lots of assignments before deadline

Work four days in a week because of the little payoff

Painful as it may be

But I can’t see the end of the coastline

Alarm awake me punctually at eight o’clock everyday

Outlook schedule remind me to stay at the company until seven

WhatsApp notice me that many projects are still need to follow up

Tired as it may be

But I laugh to face as elegant as portray

I am not an iron man

I can’t either fly and become a legend

I just do what I need whether I can

Why am I live like a slave for few years?

Oh! It is time ready to work again

Everything seems plain and normal. Yes, it's just a room, and it has all the stuff you would find in an average bedroom - cupboards, a bed and a desk. But take a closer look, you'll see all the special memories each seemingly boring piece of furniture holds. A table lamp illuminating stacks of worksheets and books underneath its warm glow. Within each textbook, each paper, are writings and words pored over for hours on end. They hold the stress of examinations. They hold the triumph of a good grade. Invisible blood, sweat and tears stain them but within their pages also lie encouragement, smiles, and the memories of unproductive but enjoyable study dates. A chair, nothing eye-catching about it but it contains memories of laughter, sadness, anger. It was there through the tough times, and the good times. Always supporting the weight. Silent and still, but always there. A place unfamiliar to most. Except me.

Exercise 4
Today, it was my wedding. My wedding ceremony took place at The Golden Coast Hotel, where located near my home. It was decorated impressively with a lot of lights, candles and flowers around the room. There were three glamorous wedding photo albums, showing tables right at the centre of the official gate. The weather is also nice, gorgeous and sunny. My groom sang a song for me and I was very touched. Suddenly, the sun went away and the clouds came. A storm was born. The wind was playing rock music. The thunder joined and highlighted the party.
Oh! I forgot. It is in June. It was summer now. When I was worrying about if the wedding could run regularly, my groom said , "Look! They want to participate our wedding and give goodwill to us!"

Nothing was special until coming to the PE lesson. After greeting to the teacher, we came out one by one to line up and then went down to the playground and had some sport activities. I knew that I would sweat when doing sports so I got off my jacket at the moment. However, I heard bursts of laughters from the classmates close to me, and looked at me with strange eyes. The teacher suddenly turned to me and told me that," You wear the clothes in the alternative way." Yup, all of my classmates couldn't help laughing. Therefore, I immediately ran to the toilet using my fast speed, and when I saw myself in the mirror, I blamed myself why behaved sillily.

After a while, changing my clothes, I went back to the class. Receiving the strange sights again from the classmates, I was really embarrassed! Nevertheless, I pretended that nothing was going wrong so as to conceal my embarrassment.
