There are people who will tell you not to read these books. They will say they are bad books, not meant for young minds. Some people say reading the Harry Potter books, about witches and wizards and magic, is the same as worshipping the devil. Other people say Holden, the main character in The Catcher in the Rye, is mentally ill. He swears a lot and hates fake people.
