From a sociocultural perspective, cultural perspectives on writing refer to how the writer's culture, social context, and identity influence the way they write, the topics they choose, the language they use, and how they organize their ideas. This approach recognizes that writing is not a neutral or universal act, but is profoundly influenced by the community, language, and values of the social group to which the author belongs.
