These are easy to degrade, but plastics are different. They use artificial polymers, so they       are difficult to degrade.

  As one of the world's top ten producers and consumers of products, China's white pollution (plastic pollution) must also be in the world's top ten. In 1995, the plastic made in China was about 5.19 million tons, and the plastic that came from other places reached about 6 million tons. In that year, the plastic we use was about 11 million tons. In these 11 million tons, plastic packages has 2.11 million tons. Like other plastic bags, plastic boxes, and plastic tableware, are thrown away in every corner of the ocean, forest, and city.

The 2013 Jinsha River incident is happen in April. The main reason for this incident was the hydropower station in the middle of the Jinsha River. On that day, a mistake of the staff on the hydropower station make a lot of plastic rush into the Jinsha river. At that time, no one found it, because it was night on April 26.

  It was discovered on the morning of April 27th. West District Environmental Protection Bureau received some things from citizens who said: I see a lot of white things on the water. I don't know what it is. It may be plastic. On the afternoon of April 27, the Environmental Protection Bureau tested the water and found that it was plastic. This incident continued to affect the Jinsha River and the Yangtze River, which shows how terrible plastic pollution is.

  Plastic is not terrible. What's terrible is that humans don't recycle it, don't throw it where it should be thrown, and don't destroy what should be destroyed. it's not a dream if humans popularize PLA materials (degradable plastics) so that plastics don't pollute.
