This method was not available in the past, but the benefits for this is that it is much faster, easy and efficient.  This one isn't necessarily the best for us. Most people have gotten attached to their mobile device, as they are used for many things that help people in our daily lives. The age of people that are hooked on technology is teens.  But in the long run this could actually be better as it might help certain individuals with their brain development.  The last example that I will tell you is that technology is closing many businesses, as the online shopping has been very popular for the last few years.  Amazon being one most popular sites to shop from.  Also, people can sell their used items on various sites.  This making it just easier instead of going to stores, especially during the holidays, and selling you products through via internet instead of going through the hassle of trying to do it without the internet and technology.  As you can see there is many, many things that involve technology and internet, but it would take so long to explain.  However, as you can see there is many effects of technology, good, and bad.  The world is changing and we just have to accept it.

Without technology, our human lifespan would shorten, we would have very poor communication, companies based on technology would diminish therefore less jobs would be available, and we would have little ways of transportation. Hospitals use technology for almost everything these days. Organ transplants, genetic engineering, and other biotechnology all increase the human lifespan and they also need evolving technology to function. We all use technology to stay connected to our family, friends, and the outside world which can all be accessed right in your phone. If we lost that technology, it would take weeks and weeks to get replies from your loved ones over mail. We also have tens of thousands of companies/stores based around technology that provide jobs and income for many, many people as well as the government. Those jobs have changed the lives of many people as the evolving technology has provided them a job and an income. Finally, we would lose a lot of the transportation that is provided for us. Technology has provided us with things like online maps and gps systems that help us easily find our way around town or new places. Companies like Uber also rely on technology to get customers to use their way of transportation, as well as get those customers from place to place. Overall, we use technology everyday for many different things and it has changed our lives for the better.

Technology isn't great though because lots of people end up spending days playing video games instead of living, and while they play video games they may get medical conditions on their eyes or back from slouching. I think technology has improved our lives but we shouldn't be depending on it.

Some negative ways it has effected us is, people are starting to loose their social skills, everyone is so used to being behind a screen and not having to have social skills. This kind of makes our generation look not so smart because when we get into real life scenarios we have no idea what to do. It has also made people a lot more lazy, even when we are typing, we feel the need to take shortcuts, and use abbreviations, which not only effects our spelling skills, its training our mind to be lazy. Social media is a big part of technology, and while it has its perks, it also has negative effects as well. Many people look at social media and believe that its all real. They think everyone is perfect all of the time, but that is not even close to the truth. Obviously people only show when they are feeling good, and something great has just happened to them, nobody shows when the bare sad, or not feeling happy, this has caused a lot of mental health issues to arrive. Also, kids attention spans are continuing to get shorter, with high speed internet, and always having something to so at the touch of a button, everyone patience is starting to run out.
