My name is Mr. Ahn and I am the Head of School. I am feeling gratitude right now and the picture above I chose because it represents how far Valor has come. The handprints represent the 40 students that first came to Valor.

My hope is to have a class that is both rigorous and fun at the same time. I want you all to feel challenged but at the same time find joy in learning.

My name is Hannah Lee and I am in 10th grade. I am feeling excited but worried about the new environment. However, I think I'm getting used to it gradually. I posted the picture of Valor because it is where I am being challenged right now.

My hope is to be able to completely understand everything I learn in class when at the end of the last class. I also hope I can find interest and fun in chemistry class when learning.

My fear is that I won't be able to handle things properly and things won't go as I planned while studying chemistry. Since chemistry needs complete understanding and needs to follow the correct path in order to do that, I am worried that I won't do that successfully.

I hope to learn important concepts in chemistry and be able to use them in the future. I want to be an engineer and I know Chemistry is the fundamental base for science. However, my fear is not understanding a concept well. I'm Taerin Lee and am a junior this year. I am very nervous about AP exam even though I took general chemistry because I want to go to a major related to chemistry. But I am excited to challenge myself this year and to learn chemistry in depth. 

Frankly speaking, the first hope for this class is getting a high AP score. My second hope is to be fully prepared for my college. Lastly, I enjoy learning chemistry so I hope to have a fun and interesting chemistry class. 

My fear for this class is being not able to understand all of the contents.

I feel nervous about my first AP. Also I am very excited about this AP which is kind of my favorite class. Even if I am nervous to take AP chem, I want to challenge myself. 

I hope I can learn a lot more about chemistry. Also from this learning, I hope that it would help in my future jobs. 

My fear is that I forget other chapters while I am focusing on other subjects.  The time management and the study time would be hard. Also if I couldn't follow and couldn't understand the topic.
