I think summer was a very nice kid ever since the first day of auggie she was with him.. she was the one to sit next to him since nobody wanted to sit next to him. she had the chance to be popular but she had to stop talking to august but she said no decided not to be popular because she wanted to talk to auggie
if I was there with summer I would tell her that she is the best of friends because she actually wanted to talk to him.

my opinion on the character is that she was a teenager who had a little brother named auggie and he had syndrome and her sister was embarrased because people would look at them
