Story Seeds is a community story-telling project that evolved through my MFA thesis. As a community-based artist who moved to Baltimore during the pandemic, shopping and working at the 32nd St Farmers' Market has been critical to navigating my new community. On two weekends in October, I set up a stand at the 32nd St. Farmers' Market to interview community members about their own market stories to encourage reflection on their relationship to the market: Story Seeds. I asked them to plant their "seeds" somewhere. You can't play a wind instrument with a mask. So my keyboard playing friend suggested we switch to accordion and clarinet at the Waverly Market.
