It has 60% of the world’s remaining rain forest and is an irreplaceable ecosystem. Near the flooded area of the rain forest cattle ranching and logging is a problem. Already the Kapok tree is existent. Also the flood plains have been deforested between the year 1970-2008. Because of this soil erosion has occurred in the Amazon river which has change the water levels for the rainy and dry season. This continues to happen up until today. It is very hard to fix this major problem but there are organisation trying to help prevent this.
