Nama= Fiorenza Aqila Syazwani

Kelas/no= 9E/13

My Wonderful Holiday in Dieng

Last month, my family and I went on a vacation to Dieng, Wonosobo🗻❄️. It was one of the most amazing trips I have ever had. We stayed in a beautiful villa 🏘️ near Gunung Cilik. The air was very fresh, and the view around the villa was truly breathtaking.💨

On the first day, we arrived in the afternoon. When we reached the villa, the weather was quite cold☃️, so we immediately wore our jackets🥼. After that, we unpacked our bags and took a rest for a while. In the evening, we walked 🚶🏻‍♀️around the villa area while enjoying the sunset behind the mountains🌄. The scenery was so peaceful and calming.

The next morning🌤️, we woke up early because we had planned an adventure. When the sun started to rise, we got ready to explore the tea plantation🍃. We went around the tea fields using a jeep car, which was very exciting! 🔥While the jeep was moving through the small paths, we could see the wide green hills covered by mist 🌫️. We stopped several times to take pictures and breathe the fresh mountain air

After exploring the tea plantation, we visited a natural spring nearby💧. The water there was very clear and cold. When I touched the water, I could even see my reflection clearly. We spent some time relaxing and taking photos near the spring before going back to the villa.

In the evening, we made hot tea also chocolate and enjoyed it together while sitting near the fireplace. It was the perfect way to end the day.

That trip to Dieng was truly unforgettable. I learned how beautiful nature can be and how relaxing it feels to spend time in a quiet mountain area. I hope I can visit Dieng again someday🤩

Nama: Taqiya Anjani

No: 32/9E

Educational Tour to Yogyakarta

Last year, when I was in 6th grade, the school organized an educational tour to Yogyakarta. We had been looking forward to this trip since the beginning of the semester. Moreover, since this was our last educational tour together with friends before graduating, we had also imagined the various fun activities we would experience.

We departed on Saturday around 4 am using two tourist buses. During the trip, we didn't stop joking and singing together with friends. We arrived in Yogyakarta on Saturday at 7 am. After breakfast, we immediately headed to Prambanan Temple. We were amazed by the grandeur of the temple, which was very large and majestic. Some friends listened seriously to the tour guide's explanation, while others were busy taking photos.

After that, we headed to Malioboro Street. There, we shopped for souvenirs and enjoyed the bustling city atmosphere. In the afternoon, we went to the De Mata Museum, where we took photos with various unique 3D paintings. At night, we ended the day with dinner together at a typical Javanese restaurant and then headed to the hotel.

On the second day (the last day), before returning to school, we stopped by the Setro Souvenir Center, where we bought various typical Jogja snacks. At 12 pm, we boarded the bus to start our return journey. We returned home with many exciting stories and souvenirs, not only for our families but also for ourselves.

The educational tour to Jogja became one of the most memorable experiences during elementary school. Besides increasing our knowledge of history and culture, this tour also strengthened friendships among us.

The journey to the beach felt exciting, as we knew we were heading to a hidden gem. When we finally arrived, the view of the beautiful lagoon nestled by the sea immediately took our breath away. The air was fresh, and the sound of the waves crashing was incredibly relaxing. We quickly set up our mat and prepared for a day of fun in the sun.

The morning hours were spent exploring the surroundings and taking countless photos. While my sister was trying to capture the perfect picture of the lush green hills, I took a refreshing walk along the shoreline. We enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere while watching the local fishermen casting their nets not far from the coast. It was truly a memorable day spent enjoying the natural beauty of Kebumen.

There, we enjoyed many rides at Coelosia, a beautiful and colorful tourist attraction.

The rides we tried included the Ferris wheel, spinning top, swing, and colorful slides. While riding the Ferris wheel, I could see the city of Semarang from above — it looked so amazing. The breeze was cool, and the view made me feel peaceful.

When we had finished riding everything, we continued to look for food nearby. We chose a small restaurant that served traditional Central Javanese dishes. While we were eating, we shared stories and laughed together. It was such a joyful moment to spend time with the people I love.

After eating, we continued our trip to a mall in Solo to buy the things we needed. My friend and I bought a small teddy bear with blue ears as a memory, while my parents bought some household supplies such as kitchen tools and daily necessities.

When we were on our way home, we stopped for a while to buy some fresh fruits from a street vendor. The night air was cool, but our hearts felt warm because the day had been so much fun. While in the car, we talked about our favorite moments of the day and listened to music together.

Finally, after a long journey, we arrived home safely at 12 midnight. That day became a beautiful memory I will never forget.

We departed 🚗 at 5 a.m. sharp! 😴 We took the fastest route through Wadaslintang. The road was super winding 🎢, but the view was stunning 🌄, with a bit of aesthetic fog 🌫️ rolling in. We arrived at the Dieng Plateau Area Monument at 7 a.m. The fog was incredibly 👻 thick when we got there! We quickly bought some chicken satay. I got two portions; it tasted decent 👍, but they were a little stingy 🤏 with the chicken meat 🍗 and rice cake (lontong).

After finishing our satay, we continued to Dieng Zero Point. From there, we headed straight to Telaga Menjer. When we arrived, we got hit with the parking fee 🅿️ (Rp.10,000.00) and the entrance ticket 🎟️ (Rp.5,000.00 per person). After snapping a few photos 📸 by the lake, we immediately started our journey back home 🏡. We took the Purworejo route for the way back. It took longer ⏳, but the drive was much more comfortable 😊. We reached Kebumen by 12 p.m.

It felt exhausting 💪, but we had a wonderful time and gained some fun experience 🎉. What a memorable day traveling to Dieng Wonosobo! We will definitely go back there 🔄 again someday.

Name: Rielujeng Herinda Noniriarti

No : 28

Twilight, Sand, and Memories in Yogyakarta

A few years ago, when the school holiday came, my family and I had the chance to visit our relatives in Yogyakarta. The journey from our house took quite a long time almost three hours by car. Although we were tired, our excitement covered all the exhaustion. While I was looking out the window, I saw the scenery of rice fields, mountains, and the blue sky as if they were welcoming us to that special city.

When we arrived at our relatives’ house, we were warmly greeted. The family atmosphere felt so close, and that night we had dinner together on the terrace. The simple table was filled with Aunt’s homemade dishes sayur lodeh, fried chicken, sambal terasi, and tempe bacem. While we were eating, we laughed, shared stories about our trip, and recalled our childhood memories. The night air in Yogyakarta was cool and peaceful, making the dinner feel warm and full of affection. That night, I fell asleep with a smile on my face, waiting for the next day’s adventure.

The next morning, we went to Mangunan Pine Forest. The uphill road surrounded by trees amazed me with its fresh green scenery. When we arrived, the scent of pine wood immediately filled the air. The tall trees made the place feel like a forest from a fairy tale. While we were walking among the trees, we took pictures together and enjoyed the cool mountain breeze. From the viewing tower, I could see the vast valley and the beautiful blue sky. It felt so peaceful as if time had stopped to give space for serenity.

After we enjoyed the pine forest, we continued our journey to Parangtritis Beach. The beach was very famous in Yogyakarta, and when we arrived, I was stunned by the vast ocean and the crashing waves. The sea breeze blew strongly across my face, bringing the familiar scent of salt. I ran on the sand with my cousins, laughing while we chased the waves that rolled toward us. We even rode horses along the shore an experience I would never forget.

As the afternoon came, we sat together on a mat, enjoying our early dinner by the beach. Mom bought some food from the nearby stalls. While we were eating, we watched the sun slowly sink beyond the horizon. The sky turned golden orange, and the sea breeze blew gently. I looked at my small, happy family Dad laughed freely, Mom smiled while taking our photos, and my cousins joked with one another. In that moment, I realized that true happiness is not only about beautiful places, but about the people you share those moments with.

The next day, we visited Malioboro the heart of Yogyakarta’s crowd and pride. The streets were full of vendors selling batik, handicrafts, and traditional snacks. I bought some souvenirs for my friends back home. When the night came, the street lights shone brightly, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The sound of street musicians played softly, adding to the charm of the evening. We ended the day by eating Gudeg Jogja at a small lesehan stall. Its unique sweetness made our last night in Yogyakarta even more special.

Time passed so quickly, and before I realized it, the last day of our vacation had come. I felt heavy-hearted leaving Yogyakarta behind. While we were on our way home, I looked out the car window, watching the morning sky fade in the distance. I made a silent promise to myself I would come back someday.

Now, whenever I see a sunset or hear the sound of waves on television, my mind always drifts back to that time the moment when I felt pure happiness with my family in that warm and welcoming city. Yogyakarta is not just about its tourist attractions, but about the memories that live in every step, every laugh, and every bite of food we shared under the twilight sky.

Name: Kaysa Mar atus Sholihah

No : 15

✨An Unforgettable Night in Kedawung💫

That afternoon, around half past four ⏰, our group chat was already buzzing. Me, Najwa, Dini, Anin, Bulan, Fio, Aqilla, and Rinda quickly agreed to meet at Najwa’s house 🏠 — the best place to hang out and laugh together.

As soon as everyone arrived, Najwa’s house turned into the loudest and happiest spot ever 🎉. There were snacks everywhere 🍿, random jokes flying around, and nonstop laughter 😂. Not long after, we headed to Trio Mall Kebumen 🎬 to watch a horror movie. But instead of screaming in fear, the whole theater was filled with our laughter and chaos!

After the movie, our stomachs started growling 😋, so we stopped by Anin’s favorite fried rice stall 🍛.

While we were waiting for our food, we came up with a totally random idea — riding an odong-odong! 🎠

“Imagine eight grown-ups on an odong-odong, the whole neighborhood will stare,” said Bulan, laughing.

“But who cares if we’re having fun?” replied Fio.

We all agreed — tonight would be the odong-odong night! 🌃

When we got back to Najwa’s house, it felt like the universe read our minds — an odong-odong actually passed by! Without thinking twice, we ran outside and hopped on together. The colorful lights blinked ✨, the music played 🎵, and suddenly the speaker blasted “Titik Nadir.”

We looked at each other and screamed — our song! Then we all sang along, our voices completely off-key but full of joy. That night, we proudly called ourselves “the night choir of Kedawung 🎤🌌.”

We laughed until past midnight 🌙, then one by one, we fell asleep in Najwa’s living room, still smiling in our dreams 😴💤.

At four in the morning 🌅, our alarms went off together. Half-asleep but super excited, we got ready to go to Cemara Sewu Beach 🏖️! Four motorbikes lined up 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️, eight friends full of energy. The cool morning wind brushed our faces while the empty road stretched wide ahead 🌬️.

Halfway through, Dini’s helmet flew off! 🪖💨 We all stopped, laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe. She forgot to lock it because she was “too happy,” she said, still giggling. 😂

When we finally reached the beach, we had breakfast while watching the waves crash gently 🌊. The wind, the sea, and the blue sky all seemed to laugh along with us.

On the way home, we kept joking, racing each other, and singing random songs 🎶💨.

It wasn’t a fancy day, but it felt perfect — eight friends, four motorbikes, and one unforgettable night in Kedawung 💕.

Name: Shafa Adzkia Dieni

No: 30

✨️ Golden Sunrise & Emerald Leaves 🌄🍃 — A Magical Journey to Sikunir and Tambi Tea Garden ✨️

About five months ago, I went on a wonderful trip to Dieng Plateau with my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Our main destinations were Mount Sikunir and the Tambi Tea Garden 🍵—two of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the highlands of Dieng.

The journey was quite fun, even though it got a bit boring sometimes 😴🚗. We played everyone’s favorite songs 🎶—each person took turns choosing—and the car was filled with laughter and music. My sister and I even fell asleep for a while because we were so sleepy 💤. When I woke up, we had already arrived in Dieng! 😆

Our first destination was Mount Sikunir. We arrived at around 5 a.m., and the air was freezing cold ❄️🥶! Luckily, we all brought thick jackets and warm gloves 🧥🧤. After putting them on, we performed Subuh prayer together 🕌 under the soft morning sky.

Then, our little adventure began! We started climbing the stairs leading up to the top of Mount Sikunir ⛰️. The hike was tiring but exciting. When we finally reached the top, we took a short break for about ten minutes. The moment we looked around, we were amazed by the stunning sunrise view 🌅—the sky glowing golden above the misty hills. It felt like standing inside a painting. We took many photos 📸 to keep the memory alive forever.

After enjoying the sunrise, we went back down and continued our trip to our second destination: the Tambi Tea Garden 🌿. On the way there, I listened to music again and fell asleep in the car 🎧💤.

When we arrived, the weather was much warmer, so I took off my jacket and gloves 😄. The entrance ticket was only Rp10,000 per person, and inside the tea garden, everything looked so fresh and green 🌱. We could take photos freely, and I even tried riding the famous “Keranjang Sultan” (Sultan’s Basket) 🪣👑! From up there, the view was breathtaking, and we could get beautiful photos—but we had to pay if we wanted to keep the official photo file 💰📷.

We spent about one to two hours exploring the garden, breathing the cool air, and taking lots of pictures together 🌾💚. After that, we continued to visit a few more tourist spots nearby.

When all our destinations had been visited, we began our journey home 🛣️. My sister and I immediately fell asleep again in the car 😴. Around 9 p.m., we stopped at a cozy restaurant 🍽️ for dinner before finally continuing our trip back home.

That trip to Mount Sikunir and Tambi Tea Garden will always be one of my sweetest memories—a day full of laughter, nature, and family warmth ❤️🏞️.

I left home at 9 a.m. and passed through Yogyakarta. When I saw the city, I suddenly missed Jogja so much. I arrived in Solo around 2 p.m. because my family and I stopped for a while at Indomaret. We stayed at The Royal Surakarta Heritage Hotel.

When I arrived at the hotel, I unpacked my things and got ready to explore the city. In the afternoon, I went for a walk along Jalan Slamet Riyadi to find something to eat. I found a simple restaurant called Ayam Goreng Kartini, and the food was really delicious! My family and I ordered fried chicken, squid, shrimp with spicy sauce, french fries, and many more. While waiting for my brother to come, my dad ordered another portion of fried chicken and orange juice for him. After dinner, we drove around Solo for a while before going back to the hotel. Around 7 p.m., we wanted to go out again to find food, but there was a big demonstration along Jalan Slamet Riyadi. It was quite chaotic, so we decided to order food from the hotel instead. I had chicken with mushroom sauce for dinner. After eating, I took a shower and went to sleep.

The next morning, I went to Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) for my brother’s graduation ceremony. After the event, we had lunch while waiting for the photographer to take graduation photos. When it was time, we went back to the campus for the photo session. After that, I changed clothes and went sightseeing again i visited Pasar Keraton, Kampung Laweyan, and several other interesting places. That night, my family ordered food online, and after dinner, I took a short walk around the hotel to buy a drink.

On my last day in Solo, I woke up early and walked around Jalan Slamet Riyadi at 6 a.m. The atmosphere was lively! Many people were jogging, some were doing aerobics, and many sellers were selling breakfast food. I ate opor ayam with my family, then we visited a shop my mom wanted to see. After that, I packed my things because it was time to check out. At 11:30 a.m., we left the hotel and stopped in Yogyakarta to buy Bakpia Kencana before going home.

My holiday in Surakarta was really fun and unforgettable. I enjoyed every moment and I hope I can visit the city again someday! 🫶💕

We left in the afternoon using two cars 🚗 because there were quite many of us. The trip was very fun while we were on the road; we chatted, laughed 😂, and ate the snacks 🍟🥤 that we had brought from home.

When we arrived, we parked our cars and performed the Asar prayer first 🕌. After that, we took the transportation provided by Sagara to go up to the beach area through a steep road 🛺🌴. When we reached the top, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of the beach from above 🌅🌊✨.

Because we arrived in the late afternoon 🌇, we didn’t stay too long at the beach ⌛. When the sun started to set, we went back to the parking area. When we arrived, we performed Maghrib prayer 🕌 before continuing our trip to Karang Bolong Beach 🏝️ for dinner 🍽️.

When we arrived at our last destination, Karang Bolong Beach 🏝️, we had dinner 🍽️ while enjoying the beautiful view of the beach at night 🌙✨. On a Sunday, my father, my mother, my older brother, and I planned to visit Puncak Sosok, a famous destination in Jogja. We were all very excited and began our journey at around 10:20 AM.

The journey to Puncak Sosok was quite long; it took approximately 3 to 3.5 hours to get there. While we were driving, the time for the Dhuhur prayer arrived. We decided to find a rest area. We stopped not only to perform our Dhuhur prayer but also to have lunch and take a short break before continuing our drive.

We finally arrived at Puncak Sosok in the afternoon. The first thing we did was park our car, and the parking fee was very affordable at only IDR 2,000. After that, we paid the entrance ticket (HTM), which was also very cheap, costing just IDR 5,000 per person.

Puncak Sosok was amazing. It is a very popular hangout spot, especially for young people, and it has many beautiful photo spots overlooking the city and the hills. There was live music playing, which created a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. We also found many stalls selling various snacks and food, and all the prices were very budget-friendly. When the time for Asr prayer came, my family and I easily found the mushola (prayer room) located within the area to pray. We also looked around the gift shop they had there.

The main highlight of our visit was the sunset. We waited as the evening approached, and the view was breathtaking. My family and I sat together and watched as the sun slowly disappeared, painting the sky with beautiful orange and purple colors. It was a perfect moment.

After the sunset, we decided it was time to head home. We began our journey back in the evening. During the trip home, we stopped once more at a rest area to perform our Isha prayer. The drive back felt long because it was dark, and we finally arrived home safely late at night, around 11:00 PM.

Although we were very tired from the long day, it was an unforgettable holiday. Puncak Sosok was a fantastic place to visit, and I was so happy I could share that beautiful sunset experience with my father, mother, and brother. It was a perfect way to end the semester.

We arrived in Jogja on a Sunday morning, immediately excited to begin our cultural journey.

After a brief rest at the accommodation, we set off for the Keraton on Monday morning. 🗺️ We chose to arrive early to avoid the crowds and the midday heat. ☀️

When we entered the Keraton complex, the distinct Javanese atmosphere was immediately noticeable. ✨ The buildings, with their classic Javanese architecture dominated by white, green, and gold colors, looked so magnificent and well-maintained. 👑 At the main gate, we were welcomed by a friendly abdi dalem (palace servant) and bought our entrance tickets. 🎟️

The first thing we did was tour the Bangsal Kencana and Bangsal Sitihinggil. While we were admiring the intricate wood carvings, 😮 we listened to the local guide’s explanation about the Keraton's history, including the Sultan's role as a cultural and governmental leader. The guide also recounted stories behind the heirloom objects and photographs of previous Sultans. 📜

We were just about to leave the main hall when a sudden call to prayer echoed from a distance, making the atmosphere feel even more solemn. 🔔

At the end of the visit, we stopped by a souvenir shop near the Keraton square and bought a few miniature Andong (horse-drawn carriages) as gifts and mementos.

This visit to the Keraton was my first, and I felt absolutely amazed with the grandeur and rich history stored within. This holiday not only refreshed our minds but also enriched our knowledge of Nusantara culture and traditions. 🧠 The visit to the Yogyakarta Keraton was a valuable and unforgettable expe

rience. 💯

We set off early, and when we arrived in Jogja, the city was buzzing with energy.🚗🛴

We started our day at Malioboro, where we immersed ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere. While my sibling were busy shopping for souvenirs🛍🖇, my parents and I strolled along the pedestrian street, taking in the sights and sounds. When we got hungry, we stopped by a food stall and tried some mouth-watering gudeg,es dawet and matcha🍵🍹🍱.

After lunch, we headed to Kraton, the Sultan's Palace🏛, where we delved into Jogja's rich history and culture. While exploring the palace, we saw traditional Javanese dancers performing, and it was mesmerizing🎭💃. Our guide explained the significance of the palace and its artifacts, and we were all fascinated🌿.

Next, we visited Taman Pintar🎠⛲, an interactive science museum that was perfect for my curious sibling🦋. While they were having fun with the exhibits, my parents and I relaxed at a nearby café, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views👩👨‍🦱☕.

As the day drew to a close, we headed to Magelang🌆, about an hour's drive from Jogja🚗, to visit Gunung Pring, a spiritual site located on the slopes of Mount Merbabu🗻. When we arrived, we performed a ziarah ritual and prayed at the grave site🪦⚰️. While enjoying the cool air and beautiful natural scenery, we reflected on the spiritual significance of our visit🌃.

It was a long but amazing day, and we were all exhausted but happy as we headed back home, with bags full of memories and hearts full of joy😊😽.

Last December, I spent a wonderful three-day holiday in Bandung with my family. It was a trip that I had been looking forward to for weeks because I needed a break from school activities and daily routines. We left home very early in the morning to avoid traffic, and the cool breeze during the drive already made me excited.

When we finally arrived in Bandung, our first stop was Lembang. The temperature there was fresh and chilly, very different from the weather in my hometown. We visited Farm House, which was full of European-style buildings, colorful flowers, and small animal areas. My siblings and I fed the sheep and took photos wearing Dutch costumes. Even though it was quite crowded, the atmosphere felt cheerful and relaxing. After walking around for almost two hours, we continued to Floating Market. I tried several kinds of snacks like tahu susu, grilled corn, and dim sum served from boats floating on the water. It felt unique and fun.

On the second day, we explored the city area. We began our morning at Braga Street, a famous location known for its old-style buildings and artistic vibe. We walked along the sidewalk, visited an art shop, and stopped at a café for breakfast. I ordered a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of cheesecake while enjoying the calm morning. After that, we went to Trans Studio Bandung. This theme park was one of the highlights of our trip. I tried many attractions such as the roller coaster, the giant swing, and the theater ride. Some rides were terrifying at first, but in the end, they became the best part of my day. We spent almost the entire afternoon there before returning to the hotel.

On the third and final day, we decided to do some shopping before going back home. We visited a factory outlet on Dago Street, which was well-known for affordable clothes and accessories. My mother found several outfits she liked, and I bought a warm jacket and a pair of sneakers. After shopping, we had lunch at a Sundanese restaurant. The food was amazing—especially the fried gurame, sambal, and fresh vegetables. Eating together while sharing stories about our favorite moments during the trip made the last day feel special.

Finally, in the late afternoon, we began our journey home. I felt a little sad because the holiday ended so quickly, but at the same time, I was grateful for all the experiences. The cool weather, the beautiful places, the delicious food, and the time spent with my family made the whole trip unforgettable. I hope I can visit Bandung again in the future, maybe discovering even more interesting spots.
