This is one of the most debated subjects in education. Should school start at a later time? Is it beneficial to the students?

Does time really matter? If it did matter than why would we need 6-7 hours of school time or instructional time. Can teachers really have that much to teach about? Is history that important that it takes that much time to sit through the civil war?
I do believe that it is less important to focus on time, and more important to focus on what different types of things are happening outside of school.
