Explore the role educators play in developing readers, writers, and thinkers across all subject areas. Participants will reflect on how reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary naturally appear in their content and identify ways they already support literacy—even if they don’t label it as such. Through interactive activities, the session encourages deeper understanding of literacy as a shared responsibility.

To support students who are struggling or have accommodations, this option focuses on making portfolios more manageable by breaking them into smaller, achievable parts and using strategies that build motivation and confidence. We’ll explore ways to scaffold tasks, offer flexible formats, and incorporate student choice to encourage progress and ownership. 

This option blends the flexibility of the Dynamic Teacher Academy’s asynchronous sessions with enhanced support through additional training opportunities and open office hours. It’s designed to deepen learning and provide space for reflection and application.
